    I'm hopeing since I am making the protos from Machined Plate that it's wield on/off works with the right effect.mes

    where do I find wield on/off scripts? I thought it was just a toggle in proto. if it is a actual script then I might need to link proto to it instead of linking proto to effect.mes

    about art I'm keeping it as all Machined Plate art. (after it works I might go with original plan and make it small race only and if I do I will try to make it med size when on and I think Automation art in inventory off maybe packed automation on ground also. to show how big it is)

    yeah, it's good to start small and at least make something that works. Since a lot of things can go wrong, make that one change at a time. You will probably want to use your own scripts, but seeing where Machined Plate's scripts are should help, since they probably have 5 digits and plenty of 0's. Should be easy to spot in the .pro.

    You'll still need effect.mes, but you're going to have to use the scripts for it. You might also consider how the technologically-inclined would benefit more.

    if I can find the weild on/off scripts I would make everything in effect.mes for Meca Suit based on tech lvl. maybe a little low like Machined Plates 30 tech lvl or make it even better than I planed and up the tech lvl to 100. by the time they reach tech 100 almost all the above my planed effects would probably have no effect do to bouneses from other items or the player buying stats.

    if Schematic works the plan is to have it available around when you get to Caladon. to balance it some.

    Well, if you spend your points increasing your tech aptitude, you are probably going to have big weaknesses, which is why you decided to make the item anyway, right? Also, you might look at some items in worlded to see what kind of tech aptitudes they have, and adjust accordingly. Also, there aren't really that many tech items with stat bonuses - there's charged rings and eye gear, and its big brother, the goggled helm, and there's the machined plate, but that's about the size of it. There are therapeutics items that have permanent affects, but besides vivifier they have negative effects too.

    I and my friends still working on mod, and int the same time we translate what we have. So when mod will be finished, will be first in polish and some weeks later (2 or 3 or 4) in english...
