That right there shows that you at aren't ignorant at all, at least you question what you see. That you don't really care about it is all right.

 

I simply don't understand how people can just go about life oblivious, without any form of independent or higher thought. I can't shut my brain off for anything, which leads to lost sleep unless I can resolve whatever's on my mind.

I feel the same, sort of. I often can't stop thinking about a lot of things when trying to fall asleep. I usually do, eventually, but always late.

I also agree with Xz about God. We can't really know until we die, and maybe we still wouldn't know. But you can't say for certain he doesn't exist. Since it's impossible to find out, I've just stopped thinking about it.

 

My opinion is very similar to Xz's as well. To be honest though, I hope he does exist - just so I can tell him his logic defies every notion of rationality or sensibility, and kick him in his celestial shin.

I settled for your solution too, General. Thinking about it serves no purpose.
