Two questions about Kerghan

    Now that I've been thinking about it, I believe the whole Kerghan-turns-into-a-dragon thing was added because the I in "Mage AI" stands for "Ineptitude" in this game.

    Makes sense. But still, Kerghan could have been made with such animations, that his melee attacks would still look like magical attacks. Or he could be made this way, that from the inside, he would wield a gun firing projectiles like those from the Bronwyck gun, his gunfire animation would look like casting a spell, while his holding a gun frame would present him with glowing hands, he would be given master in firearms, would have unlimited bullets. If medical arachnids work like they are casting spells but it looks like a tech thing (or a leat I heard it works that way), than Troika could have made Kerghan using tech things, which for the player would look like magic.

    But what if some crazy lunatic (I confess) decides to try and pick ol' Kerghan's pockets?

    I try it against many of the enemies who have strong weapons/armor.

    Heh, just like I act at Fallout. However I see you haven't give a try to pickpocket Kerghan yet. When you do so, there only appears a sign saying something like "you can't pickpocket this creature", so you can't even see his inventory. That's why I gave my idea in the first place, because I know otherwise it would be a little idiotic. The only problem left would be someone mindcontrolling or reading the aura of Kerghan and seeing, that the necromancer is a master at firearms...

    Lol, no offense but that would be hilarious and pretty much idiotic. :D

    They could've made a better mage ai or at least one that would really use magic and cast spells. I really don't think it would've been too much of a problem for an experienced team of programmers and developers to make a better script and add a couple of unique animations in the game.

    I take no offence, because I know how stupid that would be. That's the only flaw in my theory of how Kerghan could be done a perfect boss. However there are two ways to hide his mastery at firearms. One would be making him a master at all skill, so the firearms mastery would not seem such strange when noticed. The second one is giving him 20 WP (so he will not be mind controlled) and creating an option like that one with pickpocketing - when one would try to read his aura, all he would get is "the aura of this creature cannot be read".

    Of course I agree, that the programers could just give him better AI or something, but since they didn't, I just thinking how they could make him a good spellcasting boss with minimum effort, just using the game mechanics.

    Kerghan should be the master of firearms and have a pyrotechnic gun shooting black fire.
