If I were to guess, I'd put Gross in approximately his early twenties.

Us dang kids and our music! (Well, not Smuel: he's rapidly approaching thirty, if he hasn't reached it already!)

Gross has the feel of one who used to have authority and responsiblity, but no longer does. Like a parent whose child moved out. So I had assumed somewhere between a late 30's divorcee to a late 50's grandpa. Of course, if he is in his mid-twenties, that feel could be generated from being former military. But then what do I know? It's not like any here actually believes that I'm an Empath or anything.

Oh no, WS and I agree on something! (jk on the "oh no".)

The vibe that I get from Smuel is that he is possesses the sense of responsibly necessary for adulthood, but lacks stress.
Therefore, no kids old enough to be headaches and a well paying steady job. Which, if correct, would put him in his late twenties to mid-thirties with the question "When is he going to get married?" being the most commonly asked by the woman in his family (because both he could afford a family and is responsible enough). But then this is just conjecture.

WS needs to grow up. So I would put him in his teens or college years.

ytzk reminds me of a friend that I had in college. A former atheist until I convinced him he was really an agnostic. (Atheists disbelieve God exists; Agnostics doubt God exists.) He loved to play "Devil's Advocate", too.

He talks about his parents too much to have had kids, and he's probably (I surmise) too sensitive to have been through the army.

Gross is a 24-year-old who was never in the military.

I'd guess Muro is older than Gross: around his late-twenties, possibly thirties!

was talking about Muro the other day, we figured he was a cool dude, one of the types that can get away with not being seen as a nerd but being innovative and cutting edge.

The vibe I get from Jazintha Pipier is she wishes she had time to come here and hang out with us cool kids more often, but she doesn't, so when she is here she acts like she doesn't care, even though really she's crying herself to sleep every night.

Atheism and agnosticism are the same thing - they are both "the absence of belief in God." Either you believe in the Christian God, or you don't. If you don't, then you're an atheist with respect to the Christian God, and just because you might add "Oh, but, y'know, there might be something out there" it doesn't change your actual beliefs - it just means you're being apologetic for them.

Oh come on smuel, we were just having a great time guessing ages, why do you keep luring us out like that. You really can't learn an old dog new tricks, I guess.

Blah, Blah, Blah. If they were exactly the same, they would be the same word... The point is attitude. Atheists discredit everything that Christians say to the point that communication between the two becomes impossible (or at the very least strained) making the formation of friendships difficult or impossible. Agnostics are at least willing to concede that they might be wrong, but have insufficient motivation to change their position. This permits the formation of a mutual understanding that is necessary for friendship between differing beliefs or cultures.

And have ever considered the possiblity that a Christian can believe in God while simultaneously believing that he could not prove God existence to others? Would that not make him both Christian and Agnostic as well?
