Playing as a mage really fills out the party in this game. You'll get a few guys (not spoiling it, cause you already got them), that fill the role of the fighter. Fall From Grace is the priest and Annah is the thief. The only options for mage are Dakkon, who's better suited as a fighter due to his stats, and Ignus. Neither of them has the capability to be as good of a mage as the Nameless One.

There's a level 9 spell called Celestial Fury (or something like that) that you can only cast once. Either you cast it from the scroll, or you wait until the very end of the game to be high-level enough to cast the spell. The cutscene for this baby is simply superb. Play a mage!

Ummm.... Isn't the guy like, immortal and all? You know, he's got that whole "I cannot die" thing happening there? That big "hey, look at me, can't die. Nope. Just can't die." with even more of that "immortal. Imm. Or. Tal. Means you no kill me, see?". Doesn't the Nameless One have that whole thing going for him? I thought :ponder:

He can die. He just comes back to life. And several things could happen to him which would mean he would come back. Like being burnt to ashes, eaten and digested and those sorts of things.

However, it is rather fun in the game to prove to the skeptics that you are immortal...

    "Oh yeah, prove it!"
    *Snap your own neck*
    "Holy shit!"

Not an actual transcript, but you get the idea.

You can escape those mazes though can't you? Also, where are you supposed to get that dodecahedron? I went into that Dreambuilder room, came out and I didn't have the dodecahedron I was supposed to have.

Well, you can escape (but it's tough). The reason why I mentioned it was because the manual did list being mazed as something that would make your character effectively be wiped from existence.

about the dandelion - well, I've forgotten. Sorry :(

    You only get mazed once

You get mazed onces and it is actually kind of good because you find something somewhat useful. If you piss of the Lady of pain again you find out your not as immortial as you thought.
