Actually she's right. There's only a small percentage of muslim countries in which woman actually take a beating.

I've personally heard, from a woman who visited one of those countries, that woman have a great life there... coming together very often to smoke, eat luxurious fruits and candy etc etc...

Islam is very good for women in the abstract. the basic religion has all these nice, polite rules about how to treat the females of the species. unfortunately, it ends up working alot like communism; great idea until you actually put humans in the mix. even when practiced by the nicest of muslims islam is less than pleasant for women, and in most places, it's downright evil.

Because I live in Australia, one of the top three countries as far as Women's Rights and the practice thereof are concerned. Besides, what business is it of your where I live?
