After being dragged to this little meeting, I sat down in the back and continued fixing up my robe. Almost done. Just a couple more tears to fix and I can get out of this orange thing. I continued sewing while Gather made his little speech. We finished at about the same time, and I stood up to rousing cheers of victory. Startled, I look around, bewildered before remembering where I was. After the cheers die down a bit, I look at my guards. "So we won then? Superb. Might I be able to take a walk now?"

The guards look at each other and grin. "Not yet, Amohl. First you need an interview with our captain. Then, maybe."

"And how do I go about gaining that interview?" I let a hopeful smile cross my features, fearing what the answer would be.

"He'll tell us when he's ready. Don't worry, it shouldn't be long now that the battle is over here."

I try my best not to look disappointed. "Ah well, it's for the best I suppose. Back to home then?"

We walk for a little ways. "There wouldn't happen to be a library of any kind would there? I'd like to have something to read to pass the time until my interview."

The guards share another little grin. "No, no library. But we'll see if we can find anything for you." With that they open my tent door and I walk inside.

Next day I was walking in the meadow enjoying the sunlight, regaining my health...and suddenly a flying machine came crashing into a house. The unlucky pilot was quickly surrounded by soldiers. I ran up to the wreckage and saw an unconscious dwarf lying on the ground. Treat him and then bring him to me for interrogation.

    After a few hours...
The dwarf was seriously wounded but had a strong body and survived. Unfortunately being of technical nature he could have only been healed by herbs. I came to the medical tent and talked to the dwarf. He told me how he rescued Eve and then met another...Katherine. I was glad Kat succeeded on her mission.
"I'll believe you good dwarf but you'll have to stay here until Katherine returns and confirms your story..."
"As if I might be able to do anything else." we both laughed.
"Don't worry. If what you say is true then you're a true hero. You'll be treated as best as possible in the current situation."
"I'm gratef..." the dwarf fell asleep without finishing his sentence. He was still weak. I was also weak but I had much work to do.

    I returned to my tent.
"Soldier! Bring the old wizard for an interview."
After a few minutes the old guy was here.
"Good day Sir. I'm Andrew Gather, the local general. What is your name and story?"
    "Well..." (your turn).

[OOC] Since I became the new leader of the northern forces I was made aware of Eve and her mission. [OOC]

Now I'm really frustrated! After the speech I tried to get that half-Elf's attention, but one of my guards pulled my arms down.

I saw Amohl too. He was wearing some ghastly robe in a shade of orange that made me feel queasy. At least it's not just me that isn't getting anywhere - he had his guards too! My own guards have also hinted at some sort of cross-examination by their captain for both myself and that old man. What they didn't tell me was when it would be! This adventure is getting more and more frustrating, what with the battle over and me being penned up in this. Well, at least I'm not on show or in a communal holding area. I'm not too fond of crowds, or people. I guess it's to do with my upbringing.

"Aaargh!" The guards spin round, hands on swords. "Sorry" I replied. "I'm just so bored with being kept in this tent when I could be out seeking adventure, excitement and treasure!" the guards relax.

"Don't worry, this will all be over soon. I hear the captain's back to his old self again and I imagine he'll be wanting to speak to you and your companion fairly soon. It's just that he's got other things on his mind at the moment. That woman you came in with has gone off somewhere on official business - strictly hush, hush - and left him with that boy to take care of! Hear he was shipped off somewhere for training. Rightly too I think, it's not the captain's place to be baby-sitting!"

Noticing my growing interest, the guard realises he's said too much and scowling, turns away. He hasn't actually told be much, but it does hint that there is more to this war left than just a few battles! The prospect of further adventure makes the waiting just that little bit more bearable and I lie back down on my bed. I seem to be spending an awful lot of time on this bed.

I close my eyes and wait.

Come on Draco, Notty is waiting for his interview!

I stand back at look at the young woman before me. After a lot of brushing and a bit of adjusting I've finally managed to get her looking presentable. She had been a bit reluctant, but had submitted without too much of a struggle.

The young woman turns her head to look at me and blushes slightly. She is now wearing a smart dress of deep emerald green, with her reddish-gold curls loosely draped about her shoulders. She seems a bit gangly, but that would soon disappear once she started eating properly. I have to admit that she actually looks quite stunning and her new elegance shows up a fine bone structure and musculature that would not look out of place on a lady of high breeding.

I smile at her and beckon her over to make a few last alterations to the dress. "You really do look wonderful Eve" I comment to her. I stand back and look at her. I've been calling her by her codename since I met her. "I really can't keep calling you Eve. You must have a real name. [I frown] Come to think of it, apart from a description and the details of you mission and particular skills I don't really know anything about you. I think it's time a proper introduction."

"My name is Katherine L'Anara, but I think you can call me Kat. I've lived most of my life in Caladon and am rather close to the Magick council, which is why I was sent to get you. In return for training I run various errands for the council, usually of a diplomatic nature, where they can't be seen to be actively involved. I'm a skilled diplomat, master of thrown weaponry and master in dodge, [I think of Mercren and I wink at her slyly] although I have been known to be caught out on occasion. I'm also a sorceress and master of force and white necromancy."

"Ok, I think that covers the basics about me. Now, tell me about yourself..."

OK Rosie, time to spill the beans!

Maniac, I figured you'd be told something. Don't mind the references to Moonblade in my earlier posts. I currently don't know whats been happening. Also, Draco, Maniac and DW, I will hopefully be in Stillwater before sunset today (don't forget - that's tomorrow for you - the 7th April) providing Rosie replies. If not, then I'll just 'make up' the introductions and then teleport straight to you.

I was going to assume I looked good. Never having worn a dress before, I had no idea what I was supposed to look like in one. The other woman complimented my appearance, so I guess that's something, but she followed it by saying she couldn't use my codename. I raised an eyebrow. She introduced herself as Kat L'something or other, one of those slippery elvin names I could never pronounce. Then she cataloged her skills, which was actually pretty cool. Not many people tell you right up front what they're capable of. Of course, this meant reciprocating. I grinned sheepishly and started to sprawl out on the ground. I caught her look as I hit the ground, and quickly rearranged myself into a sitting position. This whole nothing-between-the-legs feeling was gonna take some getting used to. I finally got pseudo-comfortable, and tried to think what to say first.
"Well, Eve is my name. Part of it, at any rate. I was named Royaleve by... well, somebody. And that same somebody, whoever they are, gave me my pendant--which seems to be the only thing that never gets stolen! At any rate, I don't claim to be a master at anything, I'm just pretty good at most things. Ummm... what else? Oh, I'm looking for Lukan the Witless's killer, so I can roast them over a slow flame. That's about it. Oh, and of course, there's the fact that I know everything that Tarant knows about the war--including the fact that they've sent two contingents to deal with the approaching army." I grinned at her, and waited for the next step.

Finally dressed in my old blue robes again, I find myself escorted to the captain's tent for my interview.

"Good day sir. I'm Andrew Gather, the local general. What is your name and story?"
    "Well..."

"I'm sure you know my name is Amohl Dirian by now, a mage and scholar. Not much of a fighter, but that's okay since I can usually talk my way out if neccessary. I was nearly killed and robbed about a week ago by my traveling companions. After waking up, I wandered into Stillwater where I was attacked by some soldiers on the road." When I've finished detailing the events that led to my being here, as I knew them, I look at him.

"What about before you got here? Tell me a little about your history. Especially this person you needed to send a message to."

I start to get a little nervous, my past isn't something I like to talk about. "I don't suppose you'll let me go if I don't?" He just continues staring at me, waiting. "Didn't think so. Well, my parents never really settled down anywhere. Basically traveling around the wilds between Caladon and Qintarra. That didn't change when I was born, although they did start avoiding some of the more dangerous areas. It was my mother who taught me magic, and my father who led me on the scholarly life. They did the same for my sister when she was born. Unfortunately my parents were . . ." I look down and clear my throat, gathering my nerves. "My parents died when she was four and I was twelve. I knew enough to keep us alive, but we couldn't wander the wilds anymore. We moved into Caladon and tried not to be noticed. It was absurdly easy considering our age. But the city life just wasn't for us. My sister started to become pale and sickly, worsening the longer we stayed in the city. After a few months, we just couldn't stay any longer. We left for the more rural Roseburough. But it was harder to keep unnoticed there, and we eventually had to flee before they stuck us somewhere we didn't want to be."

"Eventually, around the time Mare turned nine, we found a place we thought we could settle. Up north by the mountains. It was fine for Mare, she thrived there, but I started to miss our parents. I needed someone to continue their teachings, it was the best way I could think of to honor them. So Mare and I said our goodbyes a year later, after I was certain she could take care of herself. I wandered around, learning a bit here and there by watching people on the road. Two years later I ended up in Tulla, and finally got the training I wanted. But once again, the city life wasn't working. I stayed because of what I could learn, but I wanted to leave. Twenty years later, I couldn't take it anymore and left for home. Mare had done well for herself, hiding when occasional Dwarven patrols came around. We've been living together for, hmm, I forget how long. But every now and then I had to leave to get supplies for myself. Books and such. It was one of those journies that led me here."

"I think that's all I can tell you." I stay seated, waiting to see how he would react.

I woke up the day after my interview. I was across from a door in a small tent. It was twilight outside and I could see a slumped over body sitting in a chair snoring. "This place's security is a joke I thought to my self" I saw my things sitting on hooks to my right and a pair of human size crunches on my left. "I don't need crunches" I thought as I proceeded to get up getting a ripple of pain up my left leg. I stopped a groan from escaping my mouth. Damn this, I picked up the crutches leaned over picked up my axe and cut them to my size. I lifted my self out of bed carefully then I noted my lack of clothing I had been wearing that gnomes smoking jacket on the aero plane so I went to my pack took out some undergarments put them on then put my badly dented armor over them. I wonder I there is a smith around whose tools I can barrow. I took the rest of my salves and fatigue rejuvenators in case I begin to receive pain spikes and my Pyro Axe as usual. Left the building with the rest of my things inside my pack. I worked my way around the tents and such exploring the camp. Most of the guards where asleep from battle so I was not stopped by and one. I continued around the camp until I was back at my tent I set my churches next to my bed and went to bed armor on...just in case.

The main encampment is about a half-days travel on foot (about 8 miles) to the north of Sillwater, with the servants tents and supporting tents, like the hospitals stretching around to the west of the main encampment, partially encircling Stillwater. (It's a big camp, holding thousands of troops and supporting people).

Stillwater is also currently reinforced by troops, but you would be in the main encampment.

    1445 hours - April 7, 1985

Eve just spraws on the ground in her new dress! It's exasperating! [I scowl at her and she rearranges herself into a sitting position]. She looks a little uncomfortable, but I guess she has never worn a dress before - more than likely she's always worn something similar to those rags she was wearing earlier. Well, she'll soon get used to wearing one!

She thinks for a while and then answers. She mentions her pendant and once again my eye is drawn to it, hanging around her neck. So, she didn't steal it?! I can just about make out a design on the pendant, etched in silver. It's worn and I can't make it out very well, but it seems to be some sort of animal. The pendant hangs on a long, twisted-silver chain and is extremely well made. Along with the dress, it gives Eve a certain elegant flair and it definitely suits her.

She also mentions someone named Lukan. Lukan the witless? A boyfriend perhaps? or work collegue more likely. There is a fire in her eyes when she mentions his name that betrays her new appearance and hints at the sort of life she has led. I wonder what it must have been like, living by your instincts and wits in the city underbelly.

She finishes and just sits there grinning. So, she did complete her mission, and those two contigents of soldiers are a problem. They can't defeat our army, but in their current weakened condition they could certainly do a considerable ammount of harm. That brings on a definite urgency to get her to the Stillwater encampment and Gather, Moonblade and the Cumbrian/Caladonian army.

"So Eve, you have a real name" I say. "Royalleve.... would you mind if I call you Evie?". [she nods happily]. "In light of this new information it would be advisable to get you to Stillwater and safety as soon as possible. We should pack, and quickly."

[Within half and hour we are packed and ready to leave. Mounting Pheonix, I hold out my scroll of teleportation and focus my will. Gently I enclose the three of us in my aura and then release my will. The surrounding countryside fades and after a slight disconnected feeling we are surrounded by a palisade of tents.]

"Hold, who goes there!" yells a voice from behind. Whirling Peonix around I call to the Guard "Hail friend, my name is Katherine L'Anara. I'm an ally and friend to Andrew Gather, first among the Warriors of Qintarra. I bring grave news and a messenger [I indicate Evie]".

"You're that woman who went with the incursion party!" the guard exclaims, recognising me. "At once, my lady! But I'm afraid Sir Moonblade was injured in the last battle. Sir Gather has formally taken over command of the army." [Evie and I dismount and the guard beckons over a young man to take Pheonix to the stables. He then takes us over to the largest pavillion. Holding the door open he beckons us inside...]

Don't forget, time-wise, we are in your tomorrow. Also, DW is in our time too. This will give me chance to conduct Notty's interview and then Maniac, Draco and Notty can sleep and then Rosie and I can be ushered into Maniac's tent!

Hope that made sense - ie. Draco and Maniac, don't sleep yet! DW, hope this doesn't infringe too much on your movements, but you can't yet be introduced to us! Sorry.

"Alright...you sound honest Amohl but spies have a way in acting so I don't know how to make sure you aren't one? I think you might have to stay here because you have seen our encampment. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but that's how it'll be. If you're bored I might offer you a few books...mainly about Quintarra...I guess you'll find them interesting considering that you're a scholar." I saw that he wasn't satisfied. "I hope you understand. This war will determine the lives of millions..."
I handed him the books "You may leave...I'm sorry again."

"Soldier! Call the elf!" I ordered.

The elf came pretty quickly. He was really energetic.

I step out of the tent and look down at the books Gather had given to me. Hmmph, I've already read these. Oh well, at least they'll pass time. As my guards lead me back to my tent, I see Feril being escorted towards Gather's tent. I give a little grin and nod.

Once back in my tent, I crack open one of the books and start flipping through it. It's been a few days. I wonder if Mare got my message. Wait, shouldn't the falcon have come back by now? Closing the book and setting it aside, I stand up and poke my head outside. "Do you fellows think you could escort me down to the falconeer's tent again? I'd like to see if my message got delivered."

They both shrug. "Sure, you've been there once already. Shouldn't be any harm in going there again."

As I step into the tent, the falconeer looks up in mild surprise. "I was just about to send a message to you. The falcon I sent with your message came back. With your message."

"Are you sure she didn't just write a new one on the blank part?" I try not to let my concern creep into my voice. "Can I see it?" He hands it to me. I scan the note quickly. It was exactly as I penned it and sent it. I sit down and just stare into space. What could've happened? Why wouldn't she take the note off at least? Did she move?

The falconeer waits a minute while I sit there, then opens his mouth to ask a question. Before he can, I sit up. "Can I possibly speak to the falcon? I know that sounds crazy. But I developed an adaptation of a charm spell that let's me communicate, in a rudimentary fashion, with the more intelligent animal species." He starts to look nervous, and glances at the guards behind me.

"Don't worry, if anything happens, we can take care of him." With that reassurance from the people with drawn swords behind me, the falconeer relents and leads me to the falcon's post.

I cast my spell carefully, not making any drastic movements to alarm the people with naked swords at my neck. I convey my question to the falcon, and it responds by sending a mental image to me. It takes a moment to accustom myself to the strange viewpoint.

Below me is a clearing in the woods. There used to be a hut near one edge, but all that's left is a charred frame. Strewn about the clearing are the bodies of animals, bears and wolves mostly. Some charred, some just crumpled, others sliced apart. Mixed among them are a couple pieces of armor, axes, and something I recognize after a second. The tank of a flamethrower.

Ending the spell, I collapse to a sitting position on the floor. The guards watch me closely, while the falconeer takes a step backwards. Not noticing anything around me, I start to weep. After a few minutes, my crying tapers off, then cuts off suddenly as I rise to my feet. "Take me to see Gather. We have something to discuss."

    [OOC]
I'll wait 'til after Feril/Notharah/Ferret is done with their interview before continuing with this. I won't be doing anything too drastic, just seeing what I can do to "prove" myself so I can do something towards finding out about my sister.

    In lue of Notharah:

    1945 hours - April 6, 1985

I've been waiting now for over a day, getting more and more annoyed. However, a few minutes ago I got word that my interview was to take place.

Finally! I'm being coveyed to Gather's tent. On the way I pass a grinning Amohl. He seems happy, I wonder if they let him go? Perhaps I'll also have my restrictions lifted?

Arriving at the tent, I meet the half-Elf again. He introduces himself in the curt fashion of a trained soldier. "I'm Andrew Gather, the leader here. Introduce yourself and state your business."

Well, so much for the pleasantries! "Ok. My name is Feril. Feril L'ohrn, and I'm an elf as you can see cousin." This is going to be hard without actually telling him about my heritage - something I'd rather not do stright away, especially to someone of Qintarra.

"There isn't really much to tell I'm afraid. I grew up in a small village, which was really boring. When was old enough I began to seek excitement, but my parents diagreed and we had a falling out. As a result, I was banished from the village." This was not strictly true, but it was close enough to the truth for it to be believable. Since then, I have been wandering the countryside looking for adventure. During my experiences I've taught myself the mastery of the dark necromantic arts - it's the only experience I've had in necromancy - and I've also learned a few nature and earth spells here and there. Very useful in battle they are!"

"Well, here comes the latest bit cousin. I was in Roseborough and I overheard something about this war. Can you imagine something as exciting as a war?! I had to find out more. I was heading this way when I came across the body of a dead woman at the Lethe Wyvern bridge. I found a letter in her hand and used it to teleport here. [I look at Gather and shrug] You probably heard the rest from that old man - how I materialised in Stillwater just in time to save your friends from certain death and then helped them escape the Tarantian tyranny!"

Gather raises an eyebrow and regards me. I notice his eyes slip down to my right hand. I carefully pull my hand back into my sleeve, masking the symbol tattooed there. That's a reminder of my past that I'd rather not share. Gather looks at the guards behind me and then gives his reply.

"OK, I believe you Feril, but I'm sorry, I cannot allow you to leave without you guards. I've said the same to Amohl so please don't argue. Until we can check up on your stories I'm afraid the risk is just too great. You'll have to remain under supervision."

What! This was outrageous! It could take days - weeks even for our stories to be varifyied! Muttering curses under my breath I am led back to my tent. This is so unfair! I return to my now familiar bed and lie back to await further news.

[After a while of thinking about this latest turn of events I slip into a restless sleep].

    [OOC]
OK, so we're all now up to date and on the same day! Draco, I'll assume you have to sleep before being allowed to see Gather. That way, Evie and Kat can see Gather first during the following afternoon and then when you come to see him, you can meet 'Eve' and she can point out that you're not a spy. Then you can go rescue your sister, with some help I expect! I know Feril would love to come with you on this adventure!

BTW, DW - how many ways did you spell 'crutches'? 4? 5?

Draco, a spell that allows you to read the minds of animals? I like it - I must get you to teach me that one later on, it'll be fun to have a 'conversation of pictures' with Pheonix. And besides, it's just the sort of spell my character would be good at!

    1600 hours - April 7, 1985

Evie and I enter the pavillion. A somewhat tired and battered-looking Andrew get's up immediately, looking surprised. "Kat! My guards told me you had arrived. I'm glad you are OK, [He gives me a deep, formal bow] I hadn't expected you back so soon!" He exclaimed. "And who is this lovely young lady you have with you?"

[I exchange glances with Evie and she giggles. Andrew gives me a rather bemused look.] "This yound lady is 'Eve'" I reply. "She is a spy for Caladon and she has some rather important news for you."

Evie quickly tells him what she told me earlier on the bank of the river Tar. A full debriefing will have to take place later but for now he needs to know about those two contingents of soldiers. Just then there is a knock on one of the door-spars and a soldier enters the tent respectfully. "sir, that old man Amohl has requested an audience with you. It seems he received some bad news and would like to discuss it with you. I know he's under guard, but he appears to think it quite important."

I turn to Andrew with a quizzicle expression on my face. "Are you having problems with those two men from Stillwater?" I ask. "I'm sorry for running off like that and leaving them for you to deal with. I know you've got a lot on your shoulders' at the moment because of Moonblade's ailment."

Andrew turns to me and Evie with a pensive expression. "No matter Kat, there's not much you could have done anyway. It's just that we can't really tell if they're spies or not!" He looks at Evie as if toying with an idea. "Tell me, miss Eve, of the knowledge you uncovered in Tarant, does it happen to include the identities of any spies at all?"

[Eve jumps up and down with glee.] "Of course, I'd know if they were spies if I saw them. I know most of them fairly well and I'm sure it will work!"

"Agreed then, we'll see about arranging a meeting with our two guests later to ascertain whether or not they are spies." [He sits down and indicates two other seats for Evie and myself]. "Please, where are my manners, have a seat. [We sit] Now, tell me about your trip to Tarant and I'd love to hear more about this charming yound lady friend of yours Kat. Oh, and I believe there is a certain Dwarf friend of yours around here somewhere - he came crashing into Stillwater a couple of days ago. Goes by the name of Mercren I believe."

I introduce Eve properly to Andrew and then we talk about out experiences in Tarant and about meeting Mercren Redstone. Andrew listens intently, blushing when Evie mentions her captive state and giving his condolences and admiration for her escape and ingenuity.

After we have finished Andrew reciprocates by telling us about the battle to free Stillwater. About Moonblade's injury and how Ben has gone to Qintarra to recieve training by the finest talents in the Elven village - Close combat training by the captain of the Elven guards, healing training by the master healer Fawn and magickal training by the princess Raven herself. I'm almost embarrassed by the casualness that Andrew uses - he must indeed have high standing within Qintarra and it gives me a newfound respect for my half-Elf friend. He also tells me that Cyrus has been ressurected at my request and that he is right now enchanting Richard Leeks weapons again, rebuilding our army's stockpile of weapons in readiness against Tarant.

By the time he finishes a couple of hours have gone by. It is time to assemble our guests and determine thier allegiance once and for all. Andrew gets up and calls a guard over. After a brief conversation he turns to Evie and myself. "Right then Kat, Miss Eve, I have ordered our two guests to be assembled. Our mutual friend Mercren has also been invited and I hope Jaden will be their as well. It's time we all got reaquainted!"

With that, the three of us leave the pavillion and head over to a nearby, smaller tent to await the arrival of the others.

    [OOC]
OK everybody, time for a get-together - I hope everybody will attend. It should be Gather (Maniac), Kat (myself), Eve (Rosie), Amohl (Draco), Mercren (DW) and Feril (probably myself too  ). I also hope Jaden/Mark (DoS) can make it too, but he hasn't been around in a while....

After some exchanged words, not all of them kind or proper, at the falconeer's tent, my guards "escort" me back to my tent. Once firmly placed inside, I spend the night alternating between weeping and fuming. The fuming is mainly directed at the guards who tell me that Gather can't see me now because he has other matters to attend to. At some point, I simply fall asleep from exhaustion.

I wake up stiff-necked with a crimp in my back. That chair obviously wasn't designed for sleeping. I've gained most of my self-control back over night. I tentatively call for one of the guards. They both step into my tent, hands on hilts. So that wasn't just a dream. Damn. "I'd like to apologize for my behavior yesterday. You didn't deserve that. The news I received from that falcon was very upsetting for me. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I'm sorry." I bow my head to the floor.

They seem to relax a little, but their hands stay on their hilts. "Okay," is all they say.

"But I would like to request an audience with Gather. At his earliest convenience, of course."

A couple of very nerve-racking hours later, my guards poke their heads into the tent. "Come on. Seems Gather wants to see you now." I stand up and smooth out my robes a bit and run a hand through my hair, trying to do something about my slightly haggard appearance. I'm led to a small tent.

    [OOC]
I'll take whatever help is offered, but due to the nature of what I saw, and where we lived, I'm going to be a little suspicious of dwarves. Mare is the only thing left of my family, and I'm very protective.

And Ferret, if we actually get a decent amount of "free time" I'll gladly teach you that spell.

[OOC] That is why I would go with you I dont know where Mare is excatly but It sounds further north then my clan so it would be one of the Clan under the Domain of The Wheel Clan[/OOC]

When I awoke I saw the guard looking at me peculiarly I realized I had my armor on, still. ''What is it you need my good sir. '' I asked
''You are wanted sir,'' He answered ''in the tent of General Gather. ''
I grunted and holstered my Pryo axe and grabbed my crutches.
''Lead the way. '' I said
''Sir I cannot allow you out with a weapon sir regulations. ''
''Listen sonny if I wanted to kill you and your comrades I would not do it this state unless forced. ''[I smile]
''Fine [his courage returns] but I better not lose my rank because of you, Dwarf''
He said the last word with as much anger as he could conjure I glared at him and he led me to the tent of the Supreme General of everything Gather.

[OOC] Oh just so you guys know I am not much of a morning person thus I am quite grumpy and the guard and state of my body are not helping matters I recommend a glass of tea or something strong (liquor wise.) [/OOC]

Edit [OOC] If im on the wrong day then i slept for two days its not unheard of in the dwarven culture. [/OOC]

    Everyone assembled in my tent.
"Good morning! I have ordered a royal breakfast for us here and it should be brought here soon...well it's as royal as it is possible here. And I have this old Quintarrian wine. Don't worry it isn't poisoned" some of the guests smile, others give me a suspicious look.
After half an hour we all sit by a table enjoying our breakfast.
I turn at Eve who sits next to me. I didn't expect a spy to be so attractive...almost as beautiful as Kat. I whisper to Eve "Is any of them a spy?"
    "No...I don't think so."
    "Are you sure?"
Eve takes a good look at each one. "No, they aren't unless I don't know all of them."
"Alrgiht then." I turn at others. "You all waited long enough. You all may speak of your reqeusts. One at a time of course. I'll listen to everyone and then state my decision. So who wants to speak first?"

After the dwarf passed around the glasses, I stand up and clear my throat. "I appreciate the hospitality you've shown me here. But I've received some news that I have to verify. The falcon that delivered my message tells me that my sister's home is destroyed. It looks like there was a fight. Mare's body isn't there. I need to find out what happened to her. I want to know what I have to do to prove that I'm not a spy so I can leave."

    1900 hours - April 7, 1985

[I stand up and look at the gathering of people around me.]

"OK. Thanks Amohl for the update on your situation. At least that explains why you've been so agitated so far this evening and you have my condolences. We'll see about helping your situation first thing tomorrow. I'm also glad to tell you that thanks to this young lady here [I indicate Evie] both Feril and Amohl have been cleared of the possibility of being spies. I'm afraid that I can't go into any further detail with you at this moment, but maybe I will at a later date, if possible."

"Further, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, Mercren, for your timely intervention and heroic standing during my last sojourn. I'm afraid that again, for security reasons I cannot elaborate at this time, and I would also appreciate your confidence on this matter Mercren. [He nods in acknowledgement] As a thankyou, I managed to obtain a small something for you." [I hand him a bottle with a blue bow wrapped around the neck. Mercren looks at the label and grins.]

"Vendigroth Whisky?! This is a priceless malt. I truly thank you my lady!" Mercren cries with delight. You can just about make out that he is blushing beneath his beard.

    [I sit back down.]

"Oh, and Amohl, you mentioned you had a conversation with a falcon? You've mentioned that you have researched some unique spells. I have to admit that I'm interested in this particular one, [I chuckle] it would be intiguing to 'talk' to Pheonix, my horse. If you wouldn't mind, could I have a private word with you after the meal?"

    [OOC]
And Maniac, why are we having breakfast in the evening? I have been posting a time-frame at the top of most of my posts (and Notty's)!

"Amohl you have full freedom from now on. It is the same for others too. I ask if any of you want to join my army? Every experienced warrior is welcome. Of course you may go on your own ways OR you might want to help Amohl here...BUT don't you think on joining the tarantian side..I'll kill you myself if you do that. So any of you want to join us in the war?"
