    Grant Croman

A pennyless Half-Orc who grew up on the streets of Caladon. He eventually found his way into a street gang and from there worked his way up into the seedy world of organized crime. Once there Mr. Croman wound up enlisted as a hired killer for this thug or that thug, any thug who could finance Grant's hopeless alchohol addiction.

Grant is some thirty years old or so, though he's not sure exactly. He does know that with each passing year his invetible and likely violent death draws nearer. He might not really be a bad man at his core, but men will turn to desperate measures when they live desperate lives. He drinks because he wishes to forget the path he has been more or less forced to walk in life.

Turned down time and time again for legitimate work, he turns to the criminal element to pay for his booze, which in recolection prompts him to seek out even more booze and continually meander and stagger down those familiar and depressing steps again. Year after year... it never seems to end.

    A hopeless man really.

Mr. Croman can usually be spotted sitting quietly in a corner in any of Arcanum's more decrepit and un-savoring taverns. Usually at the "bottom of the barrel", so to speak, his worn and tattered suit matches his graying hair and sullen face..

    Need a lock picked?
    A manor robbed?
    Or a witness silenced?

Just utter the word and offer to buy him a drink, and he'll do any unsavory work you need done.

Now there's an interesting half-orc. I wonder if any of my characters will need to avail themselves of his services? I need to find a spot for him, he does sound interesting...

I'm actually quite excited at the prospect of reading your fanfic, Xiao.
The bios alone seem very well thought out, so the story itself will probably be like reading a present.

Aww, Gross, you're a sweetheart. I hope I can live up to your expectations. (I'm maybe two days at most from posting the first chapter!)

I, for another, also eagerly await the first installment, Xiao.

If the story is at least as good as the bios, it will be magnificent.

I'm just gonna wing it and see how things go. I act before I think, it gives me an advantage over my opponents.

Just thinking about your fanfic has me almost motivated enough to write up a few short stories of my own... (unlikely) Anyway, I thought I'd toss out one alternate to the character I mentioned on the last page.

    Wanted-Alive!

    Age: ???
    Race: Half-Elf
    Sex: Male
    Height: Six feet
    Eye color: Blue
    Hair color: Brown-gray
    Tech/Magick Alignment: Magick

Something of a mystery—the suspect is not well known even amongst the various dark, criminal, and evil incarnate organizations that lurk within the shadows of our fair land, only the most bare of details are known about his origins. He has been known to call himself a 'Dark Knight'. Historians are aware that such beings existed at one point in the age of legends, however only the word itself has survived. Nothing is known of their techniques or ideology, though some have suggested they may have been Knights who practiced Dark Necromancy, still others postulate that they were simply “Knights,â€￾ who “…cast off the bindings of chivalry.â€￾ –Prof. Edward Herinald, Tarant Historical Society

Sir Gerome L’angron is apparently of Elvin and Human origin, however the specifics as to which parent was of which race is currently unknown and Mr. L’angron is most tight-lipped about it to even his closest confidants (whomever they might be, see second page). In either case, while he has inherited only mild Elvin looks, he has an un-naturally high affinity for Magick and is un-matched by any layman or junior mage in its use. Additionally, he is a powerful and skilled swordsman that some say could even rival Sir Garrick Stout. An impressive spectacle it would be to watch the two Sirs dual indeed. Surprisingly however they are said to mutually disdain one another.

Wanted for questioning for possible involvement in several murders which have shaken the Magick District as of late. Last Sighted within Tarant skulking around the Magick District as well as within the vicinity of the more reputable P. Schuyler & Sons. Rumors have surfaced that he is currently residing in and around the decrepit city of Durnholm; capital of Cumbria. These rumors are unconfirmed.

A substantial reward is promised to any daring individual or individuals who capture this dark man and deliver him to the custody of the Tarantian authorities for possible prosecution. As Gerome L’angron is considered armed and highly dangerous, only substantially experienced individuals should attempt to retrieve the reward offered below.

    Reward… Ten Thousand (10,000) Gold!
    Wanted Alive!

Yes...delicious impulsiveness. It prevents me from corrupting my own mind, as well as helping to have an un-chartable battleplan.
