Are you okay with that you can't raise a stat to 20 if you have a negative modifier ?

    True. Backgrounds do affect the maximum, but only the negative modifiers. A human who Ran Away With The Circus doesn't get to raise Strength to 26. And the female +1 Constitution and -1 Strength doesn't seem to affect maximum stats either way, as if it is some kind of temporary effect. Which I guess might explain why it vanished for my single player elf when she was saved to the multiplayer characters.

    That's what I want to do;
    Raise racial stats above the maximum.
    I want to experiment with a character that has, say, 100 points of strength, just to see what kind of bare-fisted damage I deal. Life is tough for The Juggernaut when his fists mainly knock people unconscious. Though, with my strength maxed as a half-ogre at 24, and with the maximum level of melee (master with 4 points), I'm able to punch people's heads off with a critical aimed shot.

    Ah, if only technology and magic could boost attributes above racial maximum. A half ogre with Strength 24 + 2 + 2 + 1? + 20 = 49 -> Damage bonus 2 * (49 - 10) = +78. That's with three therapeutical mixtures and all the Strength of Earth that one Intelligence 20 technologist could maintain. If you add more casters the sky becomes the limit! :lol:

    Would work in a similar fashion for speed, though halflings have only max Agility 22, and the last Agility of Fire would be switched for Hasten, and if Tempus Fugit stacks with Hasten, you'd of course want to switch another Agility of Fire for that one. Mmm. Speed 88 (or 98 if the +10 from Tempus Fugit is doubled as well). Or more, if friendly multiplayer casters joined in on the fun. I mean, there are no limits for how many spells one can have running on one character, is there? :D

    Hmmm Gillsing, you're saying something. The stat cap MUST be removed :)
