Questions about Car Arcanum *Possible spilers*

Hey RRoyo!

I was going through Thanatos and I found a Bow of the Thunder God or something like that...is it a decent item or something you'd have to sell to a fance?

Also, I am at like level 40 and I can't seem to get Franklin Payne or Raven to join me under the claim that I need to do more adventuring....is this right?

It's been a few months since I tried to sell the Bow of Thunder, but I seem to remember that it is a clean item.

Usually, for me, I just stuff it into the magic weapons chest and forget about it.

As for Raven and Franklin, either a glitch has developed, your character has the wrong personality, or you took one too many shortcuts to get where you are and failed to trigger the right response in those two.

Both Raven and Franklin are hopelessly good characters, so your alignment would be the first thing to check.

I wish there were a few more new EVIL npcs available....

 

Isn't it fun to be able to play both sides of the story? Usually at once.

For example - retrieve the goddess statue in Stillwater, and if your beauty is high enough, the priestess will bed you. Keep the statue and she'll keep bedding you for as long as you want. A bit rascally, but fun.

 

The only problem with that, is the Priestess likes you less and less the more you do the nasty with her, as long as you keep the statue. well, maybe that only pertains to a good character. My relationship with her went from 120, "love", to 83, "amiable" when I bedded her with the statue in my possession, and that was just one time.

 

Possibly your character did something kinky with the statue?

 

He must have. This problem never happens with me, and I've been through the two games around eight times each. Odd....

 

The kinkiest thing my character ever did with it was throw it at a monster.

espcecially if it was her favorite "thing" on the statue....

If anything, I made the statue even more appealing to those who like large dents in flawless figurines of their goddess.

At the risk of gravedigging: An idea hit me Sunday about the crossbows. Since Sierra has released dozens of RPGs over the years, and the chances of one or more of those games has the same ismometric view as Arcanum, the chances of one or two games having a crossbow seems a likely proposition. I'm going to start haunting the yard sales, and used game places to see what I can find. Most of the used games I've noticed are going for five to ten dollars each. I can afford that each payday. Might get lucky - definately wind up with more games to play.

Anyone care to help me?

 

I would, but where I live there's a "priviledge to work" tax. 52 dollars.

 

I hear that you can get back to Arcanum from the Void in Car arcanum...anyone know how to go about this?
