Problems with my new thief character!

that doesn't make sense morty, if you have a critical failure, it would mean you hurt yourself. How can a critical failure be a good thing?

 

Lets say that a successful backstab does 20 damage to the enemy. A normal attack does 5.

Critical failure:

Normal plus 200% damage = 15 damage to yourself.

Backstab plus 200% damage = 60 damage to yourself, and thieves are weak so you die instantly. Understand now. :smile:

 

okey sure, But from what I read in your post above you did not mention you do it to yourself :smile:.

 

I thought it was implied by the term "critical failure?"

 

It was pretty clear to me.
