I have had this problem a few times but restarting the game seemed to always help. Now it does not.

I started a new game and got to shrouded hills. Trying to help Doc Roberts with the bank heist. In the middle of combat when it is the computer's time to figure out who moves where and what, it goes out to lunch. The little green lights keep moving like it is still thinking but it never comes back. And now it is happening every time I finish my second round of combat. This is pissing me off in a big way is is EXACTLY the kind of crappy code I have come to expect from any Sierra affiliate over the years.

Has anyone else seen this and have you fixed it? I have the 07 patch and am running in Safe Mode (Have to or graphics screw up on me). Any Ideas?

This happens to me every once in a while, throughout all the patches.

The way I get around it is to switch to real-time, let the fight go on a few seconds, and then switch back to turn-based. This usually nudges the combat back on track.

EDIT - Skie88 beat me to it. I guess the only thing to add is that it's "Spacebar" to switch combat modes.

Milo, when you become skilled enough could you post a picture of your ass typing? I have never seen someone typing with their ass, is it a hard skill to learn?

Yeah, laugh now people. Laugh heartily.

I have faith in both Mavis Beacon's ability to teach ass-typing and my Buns of Steel video, and I'll laugh loudest in the end.

See, it's all about muscle control...

Mavis Beacon, hah, what a shit typing program! No offense, but newer ain't necessarily better. The best typing program I've ever encountered is this really old one called Knowtype. It's small and it rocks. Don't know where you can get it though...

    Thanks, Zen.

It's true, my sig didn't go over too well at TD. Col_Morty laid out a well-worded post carefully explaining how, while he doesn't find it offensive per se, others might, so would I kindly remove it and refrain from posting it in the future. It's no big deal, though. No hard feelings.

As for me, I don't think it's offensive. I think it highlights religion's tendenceny to be misinterpreted or seen in completely different ways depending on the observer.

One guy may look at it and see Jesus getting a blowjob from a little boy, along with an exclamation (from the bible) of how enjoyable the sensation is to him.

Another guy may look at it and see a crying little boy who's being reassured by Jesus that he is in fact returning soon as prophesied in the book of Revelations.

The thing is, as different as those two interpretations are, it's the exact same picture and biblical passage.

And most importatnt of all, it helps me tell at a glance whether or not I have participated in a thread. Therein lies it's true value. :p

EDIT - Edited to add that I typed this with my ass.
    Me and Mavis = 1
    The naysayers = 0
    (sorry no pic)

I cannot think even start to think how perverted you would have to be to think that the pic is about a crying little boy who's being reassured by Jesus. it's a FORCE reaction type of sig.
