Well Qilikatal, I've supported and agreed with many of your arguments thus far(not that you've asked for it), but Solaris is correct here. Hurling accusations, then refusing to elaborate is rude, and quite frankly, borders on hypocracy. A tactic worthy of any politician. Give someone the chance to support or debunk your argument. At the very least, support your own argument. Whether I agree or not, I am always interested in hearing another view

    Clothos, Solaris:
Those are the more sensible arguments I've heard on the abortion topic, and I mostly agree. Abortion should not be used in lieu of birth control, or as birth control. However, perhaps 'shunned' is too strong of a word. Carefully weighed, most certainly.. Unbiased and objective education on the topic should assuredly be sought. But above all, and the one point that most males overlook, it should be the woman's choice and no one else's. Regardless of her choice, she is the one that must live with it.

Advocating good morals..Well it's noble, but morality is shaky ground. Morality is quite subjective. What is moral to one person, can be despicable to another. An overly simplified example: There are countries and cultures where the marriage age is about 13. That's perfectly acceptable in those cultures. Here in the western world, that's absolutely horrendous, and in most places carries with it a stretch in a jail cell.

    Thanks.

BTW, the comment about 25 years ago... More like 50 years ago. My mom and dad are nearly 60 (my mom already is). I was adopted.
