No Mutants Allowed the oldest Fallout fan-site, are doing a series of interviews with the developers of games in the Fallout series. The most recent interview has just been done with Leonard Boyarsky.

For those of you who don't know, Fallout is the game that the three key founders of Troika (Tim Cain, Leonard Boyarsky & Jason Anderson) worked on at the now defunct Interplay before they left to start up their own game company. There's so much good stuff in the interview to quote that I can't decide, so here's the first question just for giggles:

1. Tell us a little about yourself, what have you accomplished in life?

I grew up in Southern California and attended Cal State Fullerton where I got a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration. After that, I decided I still wasn’t prepared to give up the life of a student and actually have to work for a living, so I went to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where I received a Bachelor’s in Fine Art. After graduating I eventually found my way into computer games. Interestingly enough, the first game I did any work on for Interplay was Rags to Riches, Tim Cain’s first Interplay game which was produced by Tom Decker (Fallout’s original producer and Troika’s current internal producer). After working on Stonekeep and Fallout 1 (and some on 2) I left with Tim Cain and Jason Anderson to start Troika Games.

I’m married and have two beautiful daughters.

It's a great interview so be sure to check it out. You can read the interview here.
