Yeah, that's about right. Keep playing, Hatter. You'll really live it when you get to *bleep* and meet all the *bleep* and *bleep* the *bleep*.

Good. I was worried I was blowing through the game too quickly without taking the chance to really appriciate it.

Yeah, I forgot to do the quests on the Isle of Despair the first playthrough. I read an FAQ, and FUDGE, all the experience I missed...

One of them have odd equipment like one guy had a fine sword (i think?) the damage was like 0-15 or somewhere around there, which is odd because no weapon does 0-# damage.

Isn't that the sword that you can do by yourself in the Smithy-thing?

If I were to skip/miss any quests on the Isle, is it possible to go back later in the game and do them or are they pretty main-quest specific?

As far that I know it's impossible , but , I've heard of a mod or something , but you will then lose your ship or something like that.

Yes, you can make it, but this ones damage is unique.

EDIT: Okay, it's name is just 'Sword', but the picture is a 'Fine Sword.' Heh?

It's a completely different weapon, and it's better than the Balanced Sword you can make, for one simple reason; It is a neutral weapon! It's got no penalties if you're a techie or magicker.

Wow, so even if I am 100% magic I can use it without a penalty?

    Well, DUH!

Also, I believe it hits harder and swings faster than the Balanced Sword does. It's one of the best weapons in the game (makes me wonder if they ever intended it to be), and it usually never leaves my party. Even Virgil is deadly with it.

I like it when developers put that sort of things in their games though. Exploring and turning every stone should be rewarding!

Subtle things make a big difference. I take extra time traveling on the world map so I can encounter more random enemies and then explore the environment some. I'll never forget the time playing Fallout 2 when I just started wandering around the environment after a random encounter and found you could explore some of the caves in the background. It almost felt like a whole new game after that. More xp, more items...it was great. Because of that, I try to explore all the little details in Arcanum too.

    Yeah, a camera picture.
It's one of those things that got overlooked.
