Megas XLR was my favorite American cartoon. They fegging cancelled it! Bastards taking my only home-grown joy away from me.

I know! Megas made me laugh so hard! And then half-way through the series it was fucking taken off the air! AUGH!

Isn't that the one where they had a hot-rod car on top of a giant robot?

A-yup. It frigging kicked ass! (plus it took the piss out of all those Giant Mecha animes and stuff, and man I almost cried when they had the Sailor Scouts take-off!)

I caught about half of one episode when I was babysitting my niece. Based on that, you're right - not bad at all.

Me - I still love Robotech.

I remember just a few years ago when Voltron 3-D came out...wow. It sucked. Honestly, I was never a big fan of the original Voltron, but Voltron 3-D was like vomit via a cable wire.

They are supposedly working on a new Voltron movie now, but that doesn't mean anything, a lot of projects never get past the development stage.

    So true.

As for Voltron: it was actually better than the premise sounded.
The original, that is. The version with the cars didn't do anything for me.

While you're at it you could add the Power Rangers.

    Too cliche.....

Why not make Visionaries (knights of the magical light) rember them...they could each turn into a token animal pictured on their chest?

    Good Guys
    -----------------
    - Lion (easy)
    - Polar Bear (easy)
    - Fox (Ailing wolf?)
    - Wolf (easy)
    - Cheetah (tiger?)
    - Dolphin (oh fuck)
    - Eagle (fuck!)

    Bad Guys
    ------------
    - Gorilla (easy)
    - Spider (easy)
    - Snail (fuck!)
    - Shark (fuck!)
    - Lizard (fuck)
    - Beatle (fuck)
    - Armadillo (fuck)

    Okay...maybe its not that easy...

What about the Captain from the Macros run of Robotech, with his all female cabin crew. He didn't have one male within sight.

That be Captain Gloval, my good man! And the running joke around the ship was that the bridge crew was Gloval's Harem.

Its been far to long since I watched that show, I've got a friend who has the dvds, I'll have to borrow them.

    [EDIT]

Now if a mysterious ship crashed on that small island off of the island of despair...

I only ever saw Space 1999 twice, it was so very, very bad.

I'll have a look for something compatible if you'd like, or you could try and make xento do it if he comes back again.

I only ever saw the movie.
Tenchi Muyo might be an interesting premise...The lead character is already supposed to be some sort of "living one."
On second thought...no. The incest factor in that series is too obvious.
His great aunts Ayeka and Sasami both have the hots for him (Tenchi).
