Incidentally, having had so much school experience as you have, what do you plan to do with your life? Any solid ideas yet? Oh wait, let me guess, it's some high profile thing? Like 'Manager of the XXX Hotel' or something? Or perhaps a 'Really COOL actor' or 'The best XXXX there is'. I can't WAIT until you fail maths and english, drop out of school and start trying to find a job. It's to give you SOME EXPERIENCE. Most students have NO IDEA what they want to do with their lives. School is a way of exposing children to several different interestes to see what they like. THEN, the children can make a more INFORMED opinion, rather than just stupidly stating 'I don't want to do this 'cause I'm gonna be an XXX and XXX's don't use this stuff'.

Obviously, your school is failing you in the 'read and write' area. I'd suggest talking to your English teacher and asking for some extra help. I'm sure she/he would be more than happy to educate you.

It's interesting to note that you mention 'shop' classes. You obviously don't like science, maths, physics etc... as you made no reference to them. I wonder then, Have you thought about what the OTHER children at school want? Perhaps you might be surprised that some of them ENJOY the sciences???

I work in politics. You are insane. You do not know what you are talking about. Teenagers are not given the right to vote (until 18 here in Australia) mainly because they are not educated enough to make a conscious decision. Hell, not even those who can vote make a fair and just decision.

I covered an entire mid-year maths exam paper with little stick figures of myself cutting up teachers with a chainsaw. :evil: Needless to say, I was suspended. In your case, depending on what you wrote, I find that teachers will be quite willing to accept a reasonable arguement. If you actually argued that school was a waste of time and they ignored that, then that is wrong of them. If however, you just wrote 'School sucks and I don't want to be here blah blah blah' then.... No comment.

OMG. If you don't like the school uniform, it is your LEGAL RIGHT to change schools to one that doesn't require uniform. I wonder, when you get that job at McDonalds, will you refuse to wear a uniform because it infringes on your rights?

What rights do you feel you are missing out on? Are you aware that being a student is essentially a contract between your parents and your school for your school to provide the client (you) with an education? Are you also aware, that deciding to skip maths and protest over uniforms would essentially be a breach of that contract as you are not in school being educated? You really are going to have issues when you get that job at McDonalds.

Oh, I think there would be. Here's my evidence, which is a breakdown of the population, by age, of one of the most populus areas of the UK. It's pretty reasonable to expect the USA to be somewhere in the same region.

As you'll see, if you trouble to look, under 18's are somewhere around 20% of the population, making them outnumbered 4:1

This is the second time yeayea has lied, or has been wrong, in this way. Like this, everything else he says is also:

• Made up on the spot to make his argument sound plausible
• Lacking in any foundation in reality
• Demonstrating a refusal (or inability) to accept the truth and reality.

1. I was refering to the eureka stokade because about, God knows how many miners got sick of having bullshit rights so they simply said screw you and a bunch of pomish imported soldiers shot them.

2. Yea Yea probably has no problem with dress code he just rather not wear it and when students did'nt wear the uniform when
they were told they could the teachers wouldn't let them and they were all punished,
He was pissed because they couldn't protest read carefully Jar (i didn't but that is what I think he said.

3. In the UK 20% of People are under 18 but out of those 80% how many of them are going protest and out of those how many are going to be more resilent then the under 18 ers.

Though I have to admit I said something very stupid about a rising force of teens as Jar said most wouldn't give a shit unless they made pot legal and lowered its price.
