actually, I believe that beholders have a HORRIBLE sense of beauty, given that they reproduce with their own kind. :)

That must've been quite the homely (or desperate) man.
That, and the whole "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" thing only applies when you aren't looking at deli slicers.

That's not even what Darkfool was saying.
The whole phrase is really a big mess of interpretation.
"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder."
Alright. Charles, you know men who are married to women you see as "ugly." Chances are, these men are A: Ugly themselves, or B: Got to know the woman, and find who they are to be more beautiful than any sort of physical appearance.
This emotional attraction is more potent than the physical, so while a woman may indeed be unattractive to see, she is beautiful because she gets you, she knows who you are, and she likes you too. In this sense, yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, there are still a bevy of ugly people in this world, and no amount of personality will ever change it. Pat Nixon being one of those that requires a personality to be attractive (that, and she's dead), I'm fairly confident that she is unappealing to everyone but a necromancer/necrophile combo.
Basically, what I'm saying is, people are ugly, and you can find a person physically unappealing while still maintaining an attraction to them.

She (or he) surely must have strong personality and 'beautiful soul' to attract mate. Anyway, emotional attraction is stronger than physical, and a rope's stronger than them both.

Beholders have death rays, those are so much better than rope.

Most ugly women are usually mean, extremely self-conscious, or ridiculously arrogant, and I can't stand any of those three characteristics. Those are just tendencies, however, and theoretically, I could like a fat girl. But she'ld have to have more personality than China has rice.

Well, I myself often find all is upside down, I think because ugly woman are shy, trying to be 'kind' to everyone. The only tendency is that beatiful women lack intelligence and intelligent lack beautifullnes. The hardest thing is to choose or to find someone with enough BE and IN.

Wasn't there some young new member who had a girlfriend he was going to marry when they got older? Who was it?

EDIT: By new I mean someone who registered later than 2005. If it wasn't someone who left, I believe it was either Wolfsbane, Frigo or Sofokl, but I don't know for sure.

They drive you nuts because they don't want to date you, they just want to be your friend.
Well, guess what I say to all of them; Hey, that's awesome. So...I'll buy dinner, and uh...stop dicking me around.

And asking them for "just sex" then TP wouldn't help as well. That is the difference between an intelligent woman and a prostitute.
