Help Creating New Armor Set with Arcanum Factory 1.2

Hey folks,

I recently re-installed Arcanum and would love to try out some modding. I've been having some great fun adding custom backgrounds and portraits, but I would really like to add come custom items to the game in the form of armor and/or weapons. So far, I've been having some issues creating new armor sets using Arcanum Factory. With some photo editing and ArtView, I have created BMPs and ART files for the ground, inventory and paperdoll files for a new re-colored red robe.

I'd like to use Arcanum Factory to create a new armor set that is linked to my custom ART files. Could anyone give me some tips on how to do this? I have tinkered with it so far and haven't been able to get things working.
