Have there been any good RPG's lately?

Get both, although I'd suggest getting them for the PC if you can. I just finished another playthrough of ME with the new Pinnacle Station DLC which wasn't half bad. Damned HARD on the highest difficulty at lower levels, though. Grakelin, unless you were blind or drunk, you may have noticed the grenade containers sitting about at that particular point. They do help if you actually, y'know, care about the colonists.

The Witcher gets a little too abstract at the end for me but is still very, very fun and different from the regular "high fantasy" crap. It's less dialogue heavy than ME and after the first chapter not actually all that challenging. Still worth it though.

Mass Effect 2 is (supposedly) getting released next year and is going to let you carry your character through, supposedly using 50 or so choices from the original. Should be good.

Apart from that I've been replaying Bloodlines and getting back into MUDs. I got sick of the satirical emo pricks in Aetolia so I'm holding out for Midkemia Online/Tears of Polaris. Either or.

Edit: Oh, and not much of an RPG, but Trine isn't half bad if you don't mind corny restricted 3D physicls platformers.

Witcher 2 is being released next year, too, what a coincidence.
