Believe me, my social skills are far worse when I'm drunk, however since when I'm drunk I mostly hang with drunk people it doesn't really matter.

I can't stand to be around drunk people when I'm sobre!

I love hanging around drunk people, they're always so happy. And it's contagious... :p

Not really, drunk humour doesn't really appeal to me while I'm sobre enough to realise it's not funny.

I'm not so sure if it's poor social skills as much as alcoholism.

They need alcohol to be able to have a good time at a party/friendly gathering. Their social skills suck.

Social skills don't mean squat when you're drunk, because when two or more people are sufficiently inebriated, they understand each other telepathically and gain an outstanding ability to decipher grunts, shouts and gibberish impossible to ever comprehend when sober.

I know. Believe me, I do.

Off-topic: DE, whatever happened to the roleplay? Did you get bored with it so soon?

Yes, whatever, but this didn't concern any of you and I couldn't be bothered with sending a pm.

You mean off the topic of:
    magikot saying hello…
    or GarmGarf's education/roasting…
    or old gaming consoles…
    or how old we are…
    or drinking ages…
    or drinking binges..
    or etc…

WHOA! Dude, never call Ireland or Scotland part of Britain. It's called courting disaster, and I don't particularly want to be the one trying to dig your shattered corpse out of the wall after they make a damned good attempt at throwing you through it.

Same goes for anyone referring to Australia as part of America. I will find you while you sleep and perform depraved acts of torture involving the new Eragon book (shudder), lube, and the business end of a crowbar.

Is it still okay to refer to Canada as 'Little America"?

... I think we both know the answer to that, so how about I just stand back and let someone from that great land kill you instead?

    Edit:

This is quite possibly the funniest post I've seen in a long time, even though I don't think anyone will interpret it the same way I do.

Remember in the middle of all those folks flaming you, there were some offering helpful tips on getting along with others. Of course, some were doing both. :) I wasn't to sure what else to call the 'Let's get GarmGarf' phase of the thread.

I know someone who holds drinking lan parties. They're supposedly a blast to go to. Usually the fourth or fifth round of hl2 (or whatever fps they choose to play) takes forever, since nobody can shoot worth a damn.
