Yes, on the stillwater blade. I think the type of beast you get depends on your magical apptitude though, doesn't it? The spell on the shaman's staff is a charm beast, which is only a level one nature college. I think the healing staff will give you a cure for heavy wounds, which is ok, but the rest, like magick shield and light I haven't found a use for as yet

 

the stuff in that chest is random based on what character you take

 

i've not used succour beast, but shouldn't it summon a different beast depending on what type of surroundings you have? if not then that sux.
