Rock on, Fatman. I agree with you one hundred percent. Doing physical violence to women is inexcusable, and unmans the male that does the deed. Wife-beaters are some of the most horrendous criminals around. Not only are they beating a woman, but that woman is their wife, a woman who most likely makes them dinner, gives them sex, sons, and love. Most battered wives actually do love their abusive husbands (don't ask me why) and that is why they don't report the abuse or do anything to stop it. I had a freind who was abused by her boyfriend, and she said that she did love him, and that's why she never did anything about it. I of course couldn't understand that, but she had broken up with him before I even met her, so there was nothing I could really do about it. Of course, if I did meet him, in a setting with few witnesses, I might not have been able to control myself, despite her claims that he was "invincible." Nobody is invincible. Everyone has testicles, a solar plexus, knees, and a trachea.

 

Well, really, we have to cope with taking care of you lot, having chidren, raising them, making the house liveable, working these days, a load of feminine problems and diets and beauty worries, and then you unthankful guys hit us for all that? No way.

 

I can't wait till you guys get your asses whuped by some martial arts master woman. Seriously, you guys make it sound like all women are the purest form of good and should be protected. I guess I wouldn't slap a girl/woman right back, but I'd sure as hell push her away before she could slap me. It's the same with little kids as with girls. Sometimes there's a girl that'll just hit you because she knows you won't do anything about it. Wife-beating is inexcusible but I wouldn't say it's horrendous. APart from wife-beating and similar offenses, I believe that if a woman puts herself into a position where it would be justified for a man to be attacked, then she deserves it too. I would be reluctant to deal out such justice, as I don't like the thought of hitting a woman.

 

We certainly aren't all good and innocent, but we don't tend to pick fights like you guys do.

 

I don't think we guys fight really that much more than women do. As my sophomore English teacher said, "No-one hates a woman like a woman." It's absolutely right. Tell me everyone hasn't seen this at a club:
"Bitch, don't even tell me to shut up. I know you was with my boyfriend last night!"
"There was no way I was with your boyfriend, whore. And even if I was, I would have made him much happier than your fat ass could."
"Fat? Ho, you have at least twenty pounds on me!"
"You're just jealous!"
"Jealous, of what?" The woman then proceeds to "flaunt her assets" to the gathered spectators. This goes on for perhaps a minute more, and then the two chicks start bitch-slapping each other. This degenerates into hair-pulling and eye gouging. Somebody's top comes off, and the assembaly cheers. A bouncer reluctantly breaks it up.

 

I haven't seen that scene, but it sounds great. Guess I should go to nightclubs more often than the one or two times I currently have.
