Aren't they outlawed?

 

I heard a knock on my door the other day, and when I looked through the peephole I saw a couple of lowlifes, one of them holding a peace sign up to the peephole. They were trying to sell me flags. Said they were raising money for a trip to Europe. I said I didn't need any flags. They said that nobody ever does but people buy a flag anyway to help them raise money. I told them that solicitation is illegal on a military installation and I was going to call the MP's.

They left.

 

Japes, you're exactly the kind of asshole that makes everybody in the world hate the West.

 

The assholes are the people who show up at the barracks looking for an ignorant private, fresh out of basic training, who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. They're looking for an easy mark who's never been away from mommy and daddy, never dealt with the world before, and who's got a paycheck burning a hole in his pocket. The same breed of lowlifes sometimes hang around on post looking for a private walking somewhere with a backpack; that's how they know he doesn't have a car. They offer him a ride, claim they gotta stop somewhere first, then take him to a car dealership right outside the gate where they try to swindle him into buying a car he can't afford at a 29% APR because doesn't know what APR is.

Those aren't even the lowest flavor of scum that hang around army bases. You get in car with someone you don't know, you're lucky if you don't wake up in a gutter with a sore anus and empty wallet. So yes, I'm an asshole to the assholes who show up here and try to feed off me and mine.

 

Nope. They're protected by Freedom of Speech, just like Westboro.

 

I never had any trouble with those Jehovah's Witnesses anymore, after I talked with them about religion and stuff. The only Mormons that I frequency see are those at the station, when I go to my work.
