Cats Vs Dogs

Ferrets are extremely cool pets. Just make sure that they're legal to own in your area. Otherwise you won't be able to take him to a vet if he gets sick or hurt.

Between dogs and cats, I'd say Dogs are the better pets, hands down. Dogs were created by humans to be companions, and as such, they make better ones than cats. Cats are great as a hands-off, cuddly type of pet. Cat owners (and I am one) really do love their pets, but it's just not the same as the relationship you can have with a dog. And I don't mean in the Jarinor way.

Basically, I think that cats are great pets, but that's all they can be - great pets. Dogs, on the other hand, have the potential to be friends with us. They miss you when you're gone to the point of crying and generally being miserable because you aren't there with them. They do things to please you because it pleases you and they want you to be happy with them. If you're a good dog owner, you feel the same way. And I don't mean in the Jarinor way. Cats are just too aloof, too self-centered to be companions in the same sense that dogs can be.

Anyway, your story is much more believable, at least concerning the job thing. Initially, I was under the impression you were doing scientific research. I'm still having trouble digesting the snake bit.

 

my hamster just died... and amazingly enough, it had nothing to do with a snake...
