In fact, I'm fairly certain that by remaining in this evil capitalistic world, you are making yourself guilty of contrarevolutionary activities. Now, be a good communist and repent before it is too late!

And why can't you go before you have your license? Naturally Cuba, with its state-of-the-art educational system would realise your potential and enroll you at their medical academy in no-time!

In the event that you are re-assigned to the sugar plantations, well, they simply know something about you that you don't.

Why are you waiting to go to Cuba until you become a doctor?

Naturally the wonderful communists understand that you're supposed to be a doctor and put your skills to their best use. And if they don't make you a doctor, then you're better suited for the plantations.

Relax everyone. Soon enough. Bree'll fail to become a doctor, drop out of uni and either give up the righteous fight to save the world or die in the gutter as a beatnick the emos of yesteryear.

    That a fact bunny? ;-)

Hey, there's nothing wrong with trying to save the world. I did it two or three times last week, it's actually pretty fun (good for picking up women). Being completely irrational (I'll do anything just to have a communist state) isn't the answer though, that's just stupid (getting caught in a revolving door stupid).

Bree, listen to me. Shut up, and just listen. I'm not ANTI-communism, I'm not really anti-anything. I just think about it rationally and I see the fact that it's less than likely in reality. However, what you're implying is that just by having a communist state, the world will be a better place. That is wrong. Communism has no more inherent good than the actions of the state overseeing it. IF states were always good, THEN communism might be inherently good. BUT, states aren't always good, states are actually, 95% of the time, realistic. They are out for their own best interests. It's a regrettable fact, but it's true.

Therefore, doing ANYTHING to bring about communism is a flawed premise. Communism requires a certain comportment, a certain temperment. People need to hold themselves to a certain code, loosely based in the ethos of one for all and all for one, and in the ethics of fairness and justice, and arguably liberty. If people held those ideals, communism would be immeasurably more successful, HOWEVER, they often don't. Doing ANYTHING for communism is stupid, because not every rash, fanatically-based action supports the ideals of communism. What use is another failed communist state to the world, it would only actually weaken your argument. If you REALLY want communism, you can only do those things to encourage it that encourage the growth of true communism, communist in principle, ideology, and structure.

And those people you shrugged off as no-nothings happen to have lived there during an actual communist regime. I will give you one severely grave warning that I hope you heed as you grow up: if you discount reliable information just because it conflicts with whatever romanticized picture you have in your head, you will go nowhere. You might be thinking about what OUGHT to be. Those people in Prague know what ACTUALLY was. Maybe if you paid attention to them you could use that information to come up with some scheme to reconcile the two. Then you wouldn't be defending such an untenable situation.

If Itravel to Cuba, or any communist/Socialist State they will make me a daoctor, because docs' are always needed, and it doesen't hurt that I'm a member of the Party either.

I like my car, I buyed it because of some reasons: I like it, it was cheap, it don't drink fuel so I have to refill on the gas all of the time, and it is limited to just Poland. Because, I don't eat at MacDonalds, Burger Kim etc., I don't drink any sodas related to the CocaCola-company, I don't wear clothes from multi-national companys.

And yes, I will almost do anything to finally get communis in a nation if the time is right for it. Why? Yes, because I am loyal to the party, I will do anything they tell me to do. And it is important with loyal members in just - Communist Parties, espescially Revolutionaires - No loyal members - No revolution or communism.

And, we know that the past communism didn't work so well, we admit it, but then, we have also learned from our mistakes to make it right next time.
And with that with prague, I know it was wrong, my Grandmother's brother - Henio/Henryk drove a Polish tank in it, and he got shot in the knee.

When someone learns something, their behavior changes. When someone hears something and it goes in one ear and out the other, they haven't learned anything. The behavior of the 'communists' in question hasn't changed a damn bit, you haven't learned shit.

"I will do anything they tell me to do."

    That's the problem. You're a fucking fanatic.

Perhaps, but I really belive, so strongly belive in communism that I will do almost anything (I have my limits of what I morally can do) to get it.

And belive me, in came to my head what you said.

It is only natural for a man to have ideals, some of which he is willing to die for. However, you're looking to the communist party for something it can't provide. Politics isn't about saving the world, it's about controlling it. Put your faith in ideals, not in men, because we really aren't built for living up to it.

I belive in the party as much as I belive in communism, and if theres noone around, I of course turn to the party for answers.

Bree is a, "crank," not a fanatic.
Even in the face of seemingly obvious counter-evidence to communism, he sticks by his, "guns," and proceeds to place his hands over his ears, pretending he can't hear anything.
    Now, this term is normally used for people who go against mainstream mathematic theorems, or even widely accepted contemporary physics. However, this is one thing all cranks do;

Make redundant assertions regardless of counter-arguments or evidence.
They also tend to proudly vocalize their beliefs, ready to tell them to most anyone who would listen, but tend not to listen to anything being said back to them.

I think we might have two cranks frequenting the forum.

Bree, it's awesome that you can dedicate your life to something. To have a cause is really something special. I just don't think communism works when money is added to the equation.

Jesus tap-dancing Christ people, can we have at least ONE FUCKING THREAD that does not degenerate into either everyone telling Bree he's retarded, a discussion on religion, a debate on communist economics, or a combination of the previous 3?

That's the capitalist world. I don't give a fuck how much money any of you have, I only care about how much I have and how much money you want in exchange for what I want to buy.

Yes yes, but imagine a "world" where money isn't the most important thing. Where solidarity, equality and work exists.

That's the root of your problem (and all the commie whackos out there) - you base your political views on the assumption that the world is completely different from how it is. A fantasy. Open your fucking eyes.

I'm not talking about what is the "best." I never said anything about that. I'm talking about the way the world is, i.e. money makes it spin.
