    Jinxed,
Yeah, most the games you find for platform systems have all bugs worked out of them and are quality final products, this hasn't always been the case however, back in the days of the Sega Genesis there were a several Electronic Arts RPGs that left key locations completely out of the game, not to metion a few other 3rd party release that had constant 'address error' crashes. Nowadays consoles usual don't accept a game untill it's absolutely 100% complete, where as with the PC, the idea is to get the game on the shelves and release patches as quirks are found, but you may have noticed that RPGs for PCs are far more detailed, complex and involved than the simple, linear ones most commonly found for consoles. Arcanum is an extremely complex game, making it a very rich rewarding experience, however becuase of its in depth nature it has left room for errors. It's the price one has to pay for a good game.
Fortunately the few bugs that I have found in the game have worked to my advantage. =)

2 games, 1 Onimusha Warlords had a language setting missing while it should be there. Gran Tourismo 2 some 1st edition had half the game missing. They had to 'ake 'em back.
I have been in computer and console games all my life so I know all about it. And I agree the complexity of Arcanum is overwhelming compared to Consoles. But I saw Metal Gear Solid2 Wich has the best enviremental graphics and it is not simple.
Sometimes I just want to punch someones head In Dead or Alive 2 with amazing sound Opic cable 5.1 Doblydigital sound system (games only work on prologic) with 60 garanteed frames. NO pc will ever be that simple

Yeah, forgot about Gran Turismo 2, almost bought it the day it came it out, good thing I didn't. For the most part, however console games are safe. Nine times out of ten, when you buy a Playstation game you know it's not going to crash, with PC's it more of a gamble, but the PC games compensate by being a little more involved. Not to say that there hasn't been meaty console games, I realy like Final Fantasy 8 alot, there was alot of involvement in that game regarding secrets and character building, and the Zelda series for the NES systems have been very non-linear.
