Listen, peace, Wayne-Scales, I do see your point of view. Not just the topic, but your intentions too. Charonte began by politely suggesting that you drop the prepboy attitude, meaning be more humble and open minded. You got defensive then as well.

I can't decipher whether his boorish insult is meant to be sincere or merely an empty attempt at disparagement.

 

Why don't you imagine that you wrote that insult, and then decide what you'd mean had you said it.

 

People have different mindsets and intentions, though. That which would be a sincere compliment in the mouth of one can be a hateful insult in the mouth of another, and vice versa.

 

In accordance with whatever bullshit spirituality I'm into...

1) I deliberately provoked you to redirect your venom away from Charonte, who had a good point but said it drunkenly.

2) I overlooked your personal attacks on my world view, because I understood that you were offended.
