After installing Arcanum and Mods, no video players work.

If this is the wrong place for this please tell me where to go. After I installed the HighRes pack, the HQ townmaps, Drog's patch, my video players stopped working. At first if I uninstalled/reinstalled VLC I could play videos, but after a while that stopped working. My video players in Chrome work with no problems. I could be wrong about the packs causing the problem but they are the only thing I've recently installed. I've ran the MS Fixit tool to no avail, and I waited too long for a system restore. Any thoughts, suggestions, and questions are welcome.
