    What is your gender?
    Female.

Which of the following age groups would you fall into? 17 or less; 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+
    18-24.

Which part of the world (Nation, Province, or State) do you currently reside in?
    Sweden!

Would you classify yourself as a 'lurker' (one who reads the forum, but only occasionally posts), or a 'participant' (one who actively posts in the forum)?
I suppose I come back on and off, but I'm too well known to be a lurker... Participant?

What keeps you coming back to this forum?
Oh, all the nice people. I rarely play Arcanum anymore.

Have you developed lasting relationships on this forum? What are your thoughts on the interactions you have had with others here?
Everyone are nice and get along just fine, that's what I like about these boards.

Do you feel that you are able to discuss the same subjects to peers in real life that you do here on this forum? If no, why not? If yes, are you also involved in real life groups dedicated to similar topics as this forum?
No, because people in real life all have IQ scores in the higher 70s.

Are you involved with any other forums on the internet? If so, what kinds?
Facepunch, I suppose, but I post half as frequently there as I do here.

47, hah! Arthgon I wish I was only 34 again

Which part of the world (Nation, Province, or State) do you currently reside in?

    Berkeley, California, USA

Would you classify yourself as a 'lurker' (one who reads the forum, but only occasionally posts), or a 'participant' (one who actively posts in the forum)?

Que? I'm sorry, I was hiding behind this potted fern

What keeps you coming back to this forum?

To find answers to problems in the Arcanum game so numerous as to fill an encyclopedia

Have you developed lasting relationships on this forum? What are your thoughts on the interactions you have had with others here?

To new to form opinions yet, although the few responses I've experienced have been good

Do you feel that you are able to discuss the same subjects to peers in real life that you do here on this forum? If no, why not? If yes, are you also involved in real life groups dedicated to similar topics as this forum?

I'm the only one I know who plays the game, so no.

Are you involved with any other forums on the internet? If so, what kinds?

Not currently. I'm usually good as long as I stay away from the "off topic" subforums which get political and nasty.

    What is your gender?

    Dude.

Which of the following age groups would you fall into? 17 or less; 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+

    25-34

Which part of the world (Nation, Province, or State) do you currently reside in?

    Pacific Ocean, West Side.

Would you classify yourself as a 'lurker' (one who reads the forum, but only occasionally posts), or a 'participant' (one who actively posts in the forum)?

9 years lurking, 6 weeks participating.

What keeps you coming back to this forum?

Arcanum is the word and you heard it, it's got groove, it's got feeling.

Have you developed lasting relationships on this forum? What are your thoughts on the interactions you have had with others here?

No lasting relationships but I've formed opinions about some folk.
80% cool, nice, clever people, 20% antisocial imbeciles. Pretty good actually.

Do you feel that you are able to discuss the same subjects to peers in real life that you do here on this forum? If no, why not? If yes, are you also involved in real life groups dedicated to similar topics as this forum?

No one else cares about the secret of super-mega-meta-abuse, or the intricacies of automaton-magick interaction. It's all about the Arcanum.

Are you involved with any other forums on the internet? If so, what kinds?

    No other forums.

    What is your gender?

    Male.

Which of the following age groups would you fall into? 17 or less; 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+

I somewhat recently entered the 25-34 bracket.

Which part of the world (Nation, Province, or State) do you currently reside in?

    Central United States.

Would you classify yourself as a 'lurker' (one who reads the forum, but only occasionally posts), or a 'participant' (one who actively posts in the forum)?

I'm somewhere in the middle, probably a bit closer to active than lurker though.

What keeps you coming back to this forum?

The general attitude and mindset of the people on this forum is quite similar to my own (with some obvious exceptions). The sort of people who would find, play, and enjoy an old cRPG like Arcanum weeds out 90% of the type of people I would never hang out with IRL.

Have you developed lasting relationships on this forum? What are your thoughts on the interactions you have had with others here?

Not really, though the HoL Cybernations alliance was pretty strong for about 2 years straight awhile back, but it's pretty much dead now. I would say that I've become used to several of the faces I see around here, and if I lived in Sweden or Australia or a few other countries I'd look some people up for a beer or two.

Do you feel that you are able to discuss the same subjects to peers in real life that you do here on this forum? If no, why not? If yes, are you also involved in real life groups dedicated to similar topics as this forum?

Sort of, but not always. Some of my friend circles don't play many video games.

Are you involved with any other forums on the internet? If so, what kinds?

I'm involved with several forums, ranging from the entertainment-based 4chan (where I have never posted and don't plan on it), to some others that were more social that I don't really post on anymore, to some private WoW-centered guild forums I host and run.

    What... is your name?

    Philes.

    What... is your quest?

    To seek the Holy Grail.

What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

What do you mean? An African or European swallow?

*Grakelin is throw into the abyss*

Why the hell not, I suppose.

    What is your gender?
    Male.

Which of the following age groups would you fall into? 17 or less; 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+
    Around the middle of 18-24

Which part of the world (Nation, Province, or State) do you currently reside in?
    Australia.

Would you classify yourself as a 'lurker' (one who reads the forum, but only occasionally posts), or a 'participant' (one who actively posts in the forum)?
Neither, I guess. Haven't had the time to post here lately and now that I do there are so many new posts that I can't be fucked reading/replying to many of them.

What keeps you coming back to this forum?
The lack of idiots. Sure there's the occasional troll, but for the most part you're all intelligent, intellectual people who are nice to debate with. Mind you we're all dickheads but my personal philosophy is that you get that anywhere.

Have you developed lasting relationships on this forum? What are your thoughts on the interactions you have had with others here?
No real lasting relationships as of yet (haven't been active long enough for that). I'd say that I've made a few friends though and I have a great deal of respect for practically all of the current generation of posters, though some of the older (now banned) members made me want to fly over to their respective country and grate their face off with a dismantled paper shredder.

Do you feel that you are able to discuss the same subjects to peers in real life that you do here on this forum? If no, why not? If yes, are you also involved in real life groups dedicated to similar topics as this forum?
Not really, my 'real life' friends are either drunks (which suits me fine), are only interested in the whole 4chan meme bullshit or have moved out of town. Actually the majority of them have moved anyway but we still get together every now and then.

Are you involved with any other forums on the internet? If so, what kinds?
I mostly keep to myself these days, but I do occasionally pop into a couple of others to make an odd comment or two. Most of them are tech-related; Monkkonen, Overclockers Australia, Whirlpool & gamedev is probably the short list.

Which of the following age groups would you fall into? 17 or less; 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55+
    18-24 = -6

Which part of the world (Nation, Province, or State) do you currently reside in?
    Northern Hemisphere, Europe, Belgium, Antwerp.

Would you classify yourself as a 'lurker' (one who reads the forum, but only occasionally posts), or a 'participant' (one who actively posts in the forum)?
A lurker, as I generally don't have anything intelligent to contribute to a discussion. Not that it stops certain others from making fools of themselves.

What keeps you coming back to this forum?
I've got it bookmarked, and an account, so I might as well.

Have you developed lasting relationships on this forum? What are your thoughts on the interactions you have had with others here?
    No. I feel outclassed.

Do you feel that you are able to discuss the same subjects to peers in real life that you do here on this forum? If no, why not? If yes, are you also involved in real life groups dedicated to similar topics as this forum?
No, Arcanum (and gaming in general) isn't quite as popular in Belgium as in, say, Poland.

Are you involved with any other forums on the internet? If so, what kinds?
Yes, a dutch tabletop/pen&paper RPG forum.

Why do I feel I'll be getting suspiciously specific spam in the near future?

Well, the project has been done. You guys will be happy to know that this thread had absolutely no bearing on my final result.

So, you didn't use the data, or we were the minority?

I didn't use the data. The questionnaire in and of itself only really helped me at the Flat Earth Society forums.
