Ranged weapons suck because... Well if you character is not high level enough you end doing a lot of friendly fire. Your pals are even worse...
Any Ogre will do in fact 2 is good. Recruited Sog and Chuckka or whatever his name is and those 2 will do a double team on almost everything out...
