I don't know what is the matter with the Polish race and RPG-related forums, you are disproportionately represented.
Dear lady! You dare insinuate that I, the well-known mainstay of lawfullness, would lower myself to cheating? Hell yes, I would. It was not so in this case, but sadly I can't think of a way to prove it (other than saying that damn, it would take a lot of F5ing). It would be quite visible if the analytic site defined "traffic" as "visiting IPs" rather than "page views" DeviantART style, but hey, it doesn't. Also, you're simply jealous of the Polish superiority in terms of Arcanum fandom collective e-peen, you are. Go Poland!
I don't know why, but there was a slight hint of sorrow that crossed my mind when I posted that. I think I am starting to have feelings for Muro.
As long as you're pretty I can't say that I mind. Weren't you already saving yourself for Zanza, though? Also, in actuality, judging from the whole context of DF's post, I believe that by "32% of 33,9%" he meant "33,9% - 1,9%" rather than "33,9% x 32%" in which situation my point stands, so no harm done anyway.
Alright, so it won't show what countries comprise the "other." Just how many Polish gamers are members of the forum? Alright, so Poland has approximately 38,180,692 people in it (information found at trueknowledge.com) as of today, compared to a US population of about 308,367,109 (same site). According to division, about .02 % of Poland is playing arcanum (that is, if each view is literally one person...but it's not), and about .01% of the US is playing Arcanum. I'm afraid to say this, but Poland is currently kicking the US's ass in Arcanum in the world of population percentages. Luckily for the US, we're about 8 times larger than Poland, so while we as a population may not be as crazy about Arcanum as our european competitor, we're still bigger. And, in the end, isn't bigger better?
.01% of US Arcanum gamers is still greater than .02% of Poland's Arcanum gamers. 3,083,671 for people in the US playing the game and 763,614 people is Poland playing the game. We're still kicking Poland's ass by just over 400%.
Poland is like a tankard of quality beer while the US is like two tankards of diluted beer of the same brand. Sure, the two US tankards have more beer in it altogether, but the beer from the Polish tankard tastes better. The States provided 2,34 times more page views than Poland, while at the same time they have 8,09 times more citizens, which - from my calculation - gives 3,45 times more page views (giving - as a simplification - 3,45 times more Arcanum fans) per capita in Poland than in the US. That means that I have a 3,45 times greater chance of meeting an Arcanum fan in my country than yooouuu. I still say I'm a winner.
Poland gets the consolation prize. Because they didn't really win, but they didn't do as badly as the other losers.
