Apparently we were contacted by someone looking for a certain Bryan Warmack. For all it's worth, I'm posting it in the GD.

Did you send Joan the e-mail? 'Cause otherwise I'm right away.

Do we get an Arcanum 2 out of this? Otherwise I've already lost interest.

I sent Joan the info DU posted, yet she hasn't even bothered to thank me, in spite of all my efforts!

No Arcanum 2 until I decide I should take all those notes I've scribbled down over the years and create a mod of it. It involves The House of Lords as a central world government, Vorakia as a member nation secretly trying to get world domination all for itself via a gunpowder plot, Jarinor as the ghost of a halfling janitor and a cow called DarkUnderlord.

Edit your notes: Vorakia is predominately a Vendigroth ruin.

Well the people may suffer, but I'm quite well off.

And how is your mod coming along anyway?

The big island is completed and mostly landscaped; no towns yet; started on the central mountain range, then got side-tracked on how to incorporate the Void island facades into mines.

I realise that I do actually have the time to create the mod, it's simply that I haven't bothered to read through AMTUT and learn the basics of WorldEd yet (I've tried creating such simple things as houses on my own... man, was that a bitch?).

Anyway, I'm going for the simple approach. The main quest, inspired by the old SNES game, The 7th Saga, will be about competing against nine other NPC's in finding The 9 Runes of Power (I reckon they'll be stones with magickal properties). Really, it'll all be an excuse to throw in a million or so references to you guys and people I know IRL.

Halflings and bananas. Halflings and bananas! HALFLINGS AND BANANAS!

DE: I'm still working on the new Void - not Cattan!

That's for later. In the meantime, check this out - I was able to stack 3 of the Void stairs and hide that sharks-tooth entry. This is in conveyence dungeon lighting:

You should make a rocket launcher. And I should get to use it.

    Hey rroyo, that looks awesome!

Don't you think it should be a bit more light though?

It's in a mine. Conveyence dungeon lighting is just bright enough to see without a lantern, but dark enough to hide all the flaws that comes from forcing facades to do things they're not supposed to.

Blinky: Blame it on the cold medicine, but I can't seem to understand what you're saying.

Coming to think of it, a Polar Bear companion could most likely be done in WorldEd.

I'll be sure to give you some cool firearm, that is, if I ever begin creating, not to mention complete, this mod.

Very easily and it could be made as simple as show up, click on the bear, and walk away with your new follower.

Question is, could I give him a firearm? How the hell would that look like?

Answers are: No and nothing. The artwork doesn't exist for a bear to use weapons.

Couldn't you modify a polar bear so that its slashing/biting was a ranged weapon? But, if that was the case, then there could only be one polar bear...and its bite would look really strange (i.e. a boomerang shooting from its mouth every time it attacked).
