invensource.mes script help plz

I have been editing the script source for a while now and I now that I have added some stuff sence the last time i editited it which was in like the begining of october or mid september. My script now has nothing in the trade menu for him. But all of the other clerks inventories I've edited have worked. I've look for about 3-4 hours and didn't find anything. It might just be because im new to modding this game. idk.

My second question is what is the first number of this thing??? Just curious is all.

You overloaded the merchant. Too many items. I've ran into the same problem along the way. You'll either have to remove a few things or else greatly reduce the frequency at which they pop up.

As for the first number, it sets amount of gold the merchant has to make purchases.

I've yet to experience an overloaded merchant. While that may be the explanation I think there is a good chance you just got one of the numbers wrong.
If you put an item number in invensource that is not in the original description.mes then you will get an empty inventory.

 

That's something I've managed to avoid, but it's real easy to overload a merchant.

Due to the sheer possibility of his stock, the magical smith in Tarant gave me fits until I set the max percentage at 25%. Now I get a semi-random inventory that actually seems to enhance the game. Will he have what I need today?.........
