I am still pretty early on in the game, just spoke to Bates...I have expert lockpicking but not the tools. Is there anywhere i can go to buy a set of lockpicks?
Hmm well iknow if you start with a point in lockpicking you start with a set of poor picks, and you can buy a set at the very start, but besides that haven't seen any, haven't beent hat far though.
Lockpicks Check the hints/tips forum for more detail: Go to the wolf cave. Accessible right out of shrouded hills, easy enemies. Normal lockpicks sitting on a corpse.
Inventors and Junk Dealers are your best bet if you're looking to buy some. The General Store shops have them occationally as well.
Guys dealing in stolen stuff in Tarant sell them but you have to join thieves' Underground first to be able to buy from them. Also I found some in a garbage can outside that house with cheap beds in Tarant (BTW the guy inside teaches pickpocketing). I'll post addresses later - just as soon as I check them.
The addresses are as follow (all in Tarant): 13 Low Dervish Row *Poone's Flophouse: I found a set of lockpicks in a Garbage canoutside this building. The guy inside teaches pickpocketing on expert level. 11 Dervish Row: You can buy lockpicks here and the shopkeeper can teach you expert in backstabbing, However you have to join thieves' underground first. 19 Quilton Bend: the guy inside can give you a mission for joining thieves' Underground. When you complete it he tells you about the shop dealing in stolen stuff plus he can give you a few more jobs if your're interested.
