i just bought the game a week ago or so. Was having a tough time deciding what char to build...anyways went with a Half-Orc Sickly Mage. I relly heavily upon my summoning spells. Just now I am level 11 and am able to summon Ogre Destroyer. That guy just kills everything in its path! Yet I notice I gain very very little experience from his kills. Why is this so? As a mage i put little points into weapons so i would not get much from fights. How does it actually work? Is the experience shared? or is the experience kept for the one who makes the kill, if so why would a Summon need to Level??? PlZ Help... I got nothing from killing the first bunch as you enter Boil...
the experience works like this, when fighting an enemy, you get ex for 2 things: for hitting him that xp goes only for you. and the other is for you nad yer party for killing your enemy that is shared. so if you are a mage and let the ogre do the dirty work you only get xp for killing the enemy. If you use disentigrate you also gain only for killing him since you killed him with one hit.
