why Virgil does not change anymore!(after he leaves)

why is it that in 1.0.7.4, Virgil does not change when you find him again in Caladon. Unfurtunately i started playing in 1.0.7.4 but i read a guide that said Virgil was menat to drop to level 25 and return as a pure spellcaster, personally i think that'd be great (and i dig pure casters). But why does he not change in the new version. I mean, even with his lines like "i feel much more prepared to face Arronax" all sorts of things he says really make you think Virgil has truly changed, which would be great (coz Virgil is like my favorite NPC's, well him and Geoffrey) But back to the question, why doesn't Virgil change?

I've heard the words Zen-Virgil spoken. Is this what he becomes after his death?
