Wheel Clan - Trouble getting into the dredge

I do not know what is wrong, but I cannot get down into the dredge, the guard wont let me pass. I have gotten the quest to get a family heirloom from Vegard Moltenflow, and I have talked to Randver Thunder Stone. He wont tell me anything that allows me to go into the dredge, and he hasnt revealed much.
Killed the crystal spiders, brought home thorwald..

I have 20 in charisma, 12 in int, 10 in beauty and 3 in persuasion(expert), also im amiable with Randwer(tried using force good reaction too, but didnt help either).... why can I not get into the dredge? It wouldnt be very good to kill the guard, now would it? And my prowling skill is 0, so thats not an option either.

Please help!

I wish you could control the followers better.. and turn of their auto weapon/armour switching... stupid followers :razz: The dog rocks bigtime though.

 

by talking to the kings son is the only way, you need to tell him you need to see the king. With your stats it should be easy to even convince him to reavel a secret passgae to the king chamber

 

Well, the first time I talked to him I had 8 in int, and that was a long time ago. But the fact is, there must be another way, having high enough stats or skills shouldnt keep the game from going on.

 

It couldnt be some bug having to do with the latest patch, could it? Nah..

 

Well, anyways its bugging the hell outta me.

 

Its true I cant get in there either i have talked to everyone and tried everything, the only i can see to get in is to kill the gaurd which is hard since he has armor and shit. FUCK. It is pissing me off. to get this far and now i cant get anywhere. I talk to the gaurd and he says go talk to the king well fucking sweet the king says the same damn thing over and over and over. I cant get any choices that even mention the dredge. Does anyone know where the trigger is or how to set it off this is bullshit and i have 17 intel with 9 char.

 

Well, left everyone waiting somewhere so they wouldnt be affected exept worthless(not) mutt.. the guard went down with an ease.... Hey! I was desperate :razz: So I stepped ooc with my char for a couple of seconds. Now, if I can just get longraine to follow me.. gonna xp some more.. I need 1 more in persuasion to max it.. and then to find the master trainer, that should do it.
