Now, why are you asking us if something would be better or worse? And what would that something be?

 

Hmm like come and talk to me that is a bad post i like chats but i can't go to them. It sucks and what i mean is that if i leave would it be better for everyone if not i stay but if you want me to go i go.

Holy crap, when I was 8 years old, I was still in diapers, I think. Definitely wasn't posting on the internet. Slug, listen to me, little buddy. Don't worry bout us here. Matter of fact, why don't you get off the computer and go outside, and play cops and robbers? Or cowboy and indians? Those were favorites of mine when I was 8. All you need to do is find a stick that looks like a gun, and a big imagination. Or, go pick some wildflowers outside and give them to your mom. Another thing I did when I was 8. All we here will do is rot your brain.

Wow. That's the first time I've been effectively called an old fart. I now know what all those old people meant when they looked at us as kids and said, "What's wrong with the youth today?"

I'll be durned if my kid has all those things when he's 8. Go outside, use your imagination. Better than a dang nintendo. What do you learn from that?

Build a fort, climb a tree, have a pine-cone war with a buddy, go fishing, play with a puppy, get in trouble for trying to light a fire in your backyard, go skinny dipping in the creek, play in the mud, play baseball or basket ball with your friends, ride a bike, READ A BOOK, climb on your house and jump off of it, go in the woods with a stick and pretend to be hunting, find some rope (you can do anything with rope) get your dad's shovel and dig big, deep holes for no reason at all (another fav). Why just look at a t.v. or computer all day long?

Man, I thank God my parents didn't even have a t.v. when I was young. I admit at the time I thought I was soooo bored cause we didn't have t.v. or computer or consoles, but now, I would give anything to be 8 years old again, and have a pine-cone war with my best buddy or trade baseball cards with him. If I hadda had a t.v. or nintendo, I woulda done nothing else but play that all day, and may not have such fond memories of my youth.

But I realize that I'm being unfair. Just like I got mad at those old people for saying "What's wrong with the youth today?" I realize I'm now doing the same to you. "My good-ol-days are not your good-ol-days."

But I still think you outta get outside and at least get a little muddy.

I'd become a punk and listen to the sex pistols and spraypaint anarchy signs all over the room, get a mohawk, wear a leather jacket with patches and studs and spikes, and some other things. I would be the youngest poser in the world! :roll:

 

Heh, at 8 I was in grade school, boy do I miss recess. Also at 8 I was playing with sticks and stuff like that and imaginating, but I was also starting to get into the computer at that time, I loved the computer, played the great game Tank Wars and Scorched Earth. At 4 I was playing the good old NES. And at 10 I was playing Diablo1 online. =)

8 is also another turning point in life, that's the time when you start to get into girls and stop with all the 'Ew, girls have germs,' or for girls 'EW, BOYS!'

 

A eight year old poser somehow i do not think that would reach the headlines. Also i would learn myself kungfu so i could beat the shite out of a few arsholes i my class.
