Lockpicks Grab a set of lockpicks in the wolf cave... It's easy to get to right out of Shrouded Hills and the enemies inside aren't too bad unless you go to the right. (Side note: Anybody know why the wolf pups are more powerful than their mom?) Stick to the left for the lockpicks... I believe they're on a corpse. You'll encounter nothing but sewer rats and a putrid rodent or two. I think. Check the locations page on this site if you need it.
I purchased my picks from a fence in Tarant in the warehouse district, the option to purchase from him however is only available once you've become part of the thieve's guild. Also, as metioned, you can easily retrieve some picks from a corpse in Wolf Cave, which is around the Dornholm, Blackroot area.
