What are the best tech schemes/disciplines?

    I have a 21 level techie half-elf. I've been putting points into the Electrical Discipline and I'm up to the shocking staff. But, the remaining schematics in this discipline don't really appeal to me. The chapeau of magnetic inversion and the healing jacket seem kind of lame. I think it would be a waste for me to build the tesla rod because I've focused on melee and haven't put a single point into firearms.
    So I'm wondering, what are the best tech schematics to go after?

    the pyro axe and the mechaninised armor. witch is smithy (elite plate) and some mechanical. Also automaton (mechanical anarchid and a small and elite plate.)

    Since you're a melee guy, the Pyrotechnic Axe is for you! It actually lives up to most of the Hype Text the schematic gives for it! Amazing!

    Tech manuals are required for most Found Schematics, because the requirements tend to be high and Magnus can't use Found Schematics! They are fairly easy to get, and they allow a person to build the Pyro Axes WAY too early in the game!
