Well I'm New

Hi everyone, I'm new.
My name is David Icke.
I used to enjoy Arcanum, Fallout, Temple Of Elemental Evil.
I also enjoy hate based humor and various other types of entertainment while at work.
I am looking for a place to vent and have creative discussions that might help me take my mind off of the numbing inevitability of death.
Just joshing folks, death doesn't scare me at all.
In fact, I wipe my arse with death and I fold the sheets mid wipe in order to maximize efficiency.
No really though I am actually quite terrified.

Are new members so uncommon that its more likely that someone has created an alter ego?

 

Arcanum was released over 11 years ago, and new members normally remain in the Arcanum Discussion forums. Creating an account and posting directly in the General Discussion forum implies you know the situation here to some extent - I'm surprised that you're surprised.

 

The last people to directly post into the GD forum were Herr Otto Flick and some account that we also thought was Smuel´s, then, based on that evidence, the order of facts and your introductory speech becomes nothing but suspicious.
No offense intended by any member.except for Jojobobo, he always means an offense.

 

I don't intend offense, it's just unusual that someone who would be well aware of the RPG preferences of a forum yet would somehow be completely unaware of any other history of the same forum.

Hmmm... How do I know you're not just me in disguise?

 

I'm not trying to fool anyone here, I have used the forum before and at that time posting in the general chat section seemed the done thing. However this was years ago and at that time new members seemed to be treated more like unwelcome invaders. I do not remember my account name before you ask and I must have made less than 20 posts. In any case I feel most welcome due to the lack of banishing replies and will surely enjoy being here.

Yes, the climate toward newcomers has warmed quite a bit since my introduction even. That shift is at least coincident with Xiao_Caity's departure, although I hesitate to draw a direct correlation because naming her explicitly will draw enough criticism of obsession as it is.
