... so now I hope Deadfire will be good, or I'll sulk for eternity. I might post Deadfire news in the News section too.
It's the sequel to Pillars of Eternity. It's set in the Deadfire Archipelago, which you might remember as one of the geographic backgrounds available during character creation. The game is pirate-themed, which seems kind of fresh. There won't be a community pledge this time around since I caught wind of this way too late (and it's not like we would have reached the $5000 required to make our own pirate party either - though $750 would have been enough for an artifact). I believe today might be the last day to pledge.
As long as I get to own a ship I will probably get it. Shame active member count is so low. A pirate company would of been cool.
To reach 5000 dollars active membership would have to hover around 2003 levels. I mean, it's not like I'm getting the lottery tickets I deserve, is it?
The campaign has ended but one can still pledge for sweet rewards. For those present, a pirate band (or an inn!) can be yours for the low, low price of $1,000. Make that $1,250 as you'll have to count me out. I overpaid (for sweet rewards) for Shadowrun Returns, a feat I have no intention of repeating. I haven't even played PoE.
I can pledge about 100 to get a pirate part, that will probably get you guys down to 1230. Never say I'm not generous.
