Just because your the Living One, doesn't make you Jesus! I mean come on! Jesus had 12 disciples, you can only have up to 6! Unless you want to make disciples, but that's cheating kinda.

What does that have to do with this thread? I think you posted in the wrong thread. Good post though.

Are we talking about the same game? Aracanum? Steamworks? Magicka Obscura? OK, looking at my box front. No water. Did a search on the entire electronic version of the manual. Got Stillwater once. And the water elemental spells, none of which allow you to walk on water. OK, maybe they should, but, uh, they don't. Now when the water is really shallow, you can walk on the rocks IN the water. In Caladon you do that to see the gypsy for one. Is that what you mean?

The only game I can think of that has a walk on water spell in it is Heroes of Might and Magic.

Um, thanks? What would you have expected? You kinda have to figure out how to walk across shallow water to do quite a lot of things in the game. Or you can just set waypoints and watch the chars do it themselves. I've played the game through to the end 3 times, so goshum, I'd hope I could figure that out. n00b post count does not necessarily equal newbie player.

    Just cause I don't know what's at 1,1...

It's just that, labyrithian. I don't even want to know how many hours I've spent playing Arcanum. Geeaah!

He may be reffering to a glitch that makes your character keep on running after youve stopped holding down the mouse button. Ive had that happen several times and if your next to water, you do run into the water. It sucks tho because you cant move OUT of wherever you get stuck.

whenever i want my characters to stop picking up garbage (like useless knives etc, that i've found in their inventory and dont retail for shit) i throw them into water, its extremely useful that no one is able to walk on it, other wise my npcs would all be completely encumbered by the knives those goblin things carry

Did you consider NOT looitng the corpses of the Kites? There's never anything truly valuable on them anyway. I only loot Kite archers for the ammo when I play an archer character.

Unless the item is on the ground, your npc's don't pick it up. They don't loot bodies for items, only you do that.

Hell yea, hav chukka smack em one and you get 10 arrows. The only thing kites are good for.

well in that first semi hard dungeon (the mines with all the golems and kites etc., and the crazy dwarf at the end who says he was the last member of some dwarven clan that showed bates the steam engine)
i had to leave for provisions, and when i came back the bodies were gone but the kite knives and bows and junk were still there, so they were picking shit up like mexicans in a penny parade...

I had that happen to me. If you wait for a day I believe all the stuff goes away. You can also just run through really fast and press F1 to make your followers keep running ahead of you.

um Sleek, spoilers maybe about the mines?

Yea, well that's what inventory is for. when you're done with a mission, go to the junk shop in Tarant and go through your guys inventory. The junkshop buys almost anything, I think they give you 2 or 3 for Kite Swords. It's not like it's alot of money, but at least you can dump em.

Arrows go at 2 coins each in Tarant, there are an ungodly number in that mine, 240 or more. The bows are worth 50 coins each IIRC. A rural blacksmioth will offer 5 or 6 coins for those kite swords & a junk dealer 4. There's a lot of those things down there. But if you are 25th level or so & already rich, I suppose leaving all that portable wealth behind does not mater much.
