I noticed the same thing myself. Another tidbit of information...don't stick a bow and arrows in his hand. ( He can't hit the side of a barn and usually ends up getting himself killed by other members of the group after he manages to shoot one of them in the ass by mistake (lol).
Changes are, you're a technological character. Direct magic, like Minor Heal, doesn't work on tech characters well. That's why he stopped.
Give him bandages, and he will use it instead of his magick. And this will be better for tech characters rather than him using all his fatigue points and collapsing just to heal you..=)
