Virgil did not leave the group after T'sen Ang. He's still with us but won't interact at all. He travels with us, but only from one waypoint to the next... he doesn't walk around. Ashamedly, I do not have a save I can fall back on. And what happened in T'sen Ang you might ask? I talked to M'in Gorad and left. I told the molochean hand guy that approached me about everything, he thanked me for revealing the truth about how they were being used again and ran off. Virgil hasn't been the same since. I have even returned several times to try and kill everyone to see if that might bring him back... but I have not yet succeeded and would rather get on with the game than waste my time. Would the patch fix this or is it too far gone? I've already done everything in the Panarii temple in Caladon...
did you perhaps enter the world map before virgil had a chance to talk. I've kept him that way before but he never got buggy he was the same as always if I remember right. Anyway try going on with the story as though he had left the group ie go to the sobbing onion and enter the basement maybe that will snap him out of it. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Try going back to T'sen Ang and walking around by the entrance. That's usually where Virgil decides to leave. -Poiuyt Man
I've been to the sobbing onion and there's nothing down there. I think I'll try installing the patch to see if that helps... couldn't hurt anyhow.
What about the ressurect scroll in the chest. I think he didn't leave because you convinced the molochean hand leader to go away as opposed to killing him (I know this stops Vollinger leaving)
theres your solution right there kill virgil yourself (have the rest wait somewhere out of sight and use dynamite or something) then use a scroll of resurrect on him boom back to normal
That only affects Vollinger. As for Virgil I think it's your alignment that may influence his decision. I played a good character, with positive alignment and after I found Virgil in Caladon he said something along the lines "travelling with you and seeing how you act, helped me make my mind". As for the patch I doubt it will do much good now that you don't have an earlier save. However as it doesn't make your pre-patch saved games unloadable you can safely try it. The kill/resurrect idea might be worth trying too.
