There are several small shops on the outskirtes of most towns who will idenify stuff ro a price. They also sell magic items. If your in terant then you cna find one to the far east just outside the city walls. All the have is a tent.
in shrounded hills, when you exit the town through the bridge, there is a woman with a tent who you can't miss, select to indentify through dialog
There is also one in Tarant and Ashbury. You would think there would be one in every town, but I didn't find them.
To identify items: 1) Find a gypsy and let him identify those items for you for 100 coins. Gypsies can be found in Shrouded Hills, Tarant, Ashbury, and BalckRoot. These are the only places I know so far. 2) You can learn to identify thing if you can learn college of Divination level 5, Divine Magic. 3) You can buy the spell, Divine Magic, for 1500 coins (or greater).
Gypsies... There is also a Gypsy at the very top left corner of Caladon. There may be others, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. :smile:
Don't forget the one in Tarant! All you need to do is go to your city map and look at the outskirts of town, thats where the gypsies hannng. =p
