I do. I prefer turn based, it feels like Fallout's conbat system, which I liked, and I can take my time, think about what I want to do, etc. It makes it less of a click fest, too, in combat. Alex
I only use turn-based when I feel the battle is going to be difficult, and a tactical combat would benefit me more. Real-time saves a lot of time and effort as your NPC can quickly dispatch them.
I use turn based all the time, but then I'm still early on in the game... Surely real time combat just turns it into Diablo...? [ This Message was edited by: Reg Pither on 2001-11-16 09:49 ]
i prefer turn-based, i like full control and i want keep followers out of fight.....they stole my experience...
I usually go real-time, stand a mile away, fire a million harms and when they come close enough I switch to turn based.
Well I'm glad that my post got some publicity. I usually (always) use real time, I only have virgil so I still get alot of exp.
When you use the real-time you don't have the time to use potions and stuff like that. But when you in the turn-based mode every battle is taking forever to finnish(big battles). so i use the fast-turn-based.
