1.Some of you have been bless with the special encounter, well will you guys give me the co- ordinates, because I spend two years running around and I couldn't find it.

2.The wise woman has some schematics to sell, one of them is "Invigator", in spite of having the ingredients and INT. 9 I still didn't have enough expertise (that's what the game told me after trying to combine these products). I know that my intelligence wasn't high enough to make it work, however how one can know what is the requirement of INT. for the bought schematics.

3.Last but not least I'm trying to keep track of acronyms, I thought I know them all, well of course I was wrong. What's the "TH" stands for?

I think it's random. CB said it happens near Tarant.

You need a 70 expertise in Herbology. Basically, if you can make the Heal Accelerator (lvl 5 Herbology) I think you can make the Invigorator, since that's one of the components...

To Hit, I think. That or Throwing... Where's it being used?

I think it must be To Hit since there is a TH value on most good firearms.

I seem to remember someone going on about how they used several hours in the process of getting around the now infamous riverbend. I think I did it in less than five minutes. Click as far as you can go on the world map, then walk a bit( you usually don`t have to go far), and try again.

And the TH has to be to hit, as it`s a value on every firearm as earlier mentioned. It also decreases with lower quality weapons.

Does anyone else find the automated turnbased combat toggle to be a bit slow?
Why does your opponent get up close before it switches on? I realize you can toggle manually, but still...

    i'm guessing here, so...

...perhaps it waits a turn berfore it switches? just so that you can't cast a spell, hit spacebar and then pund some more on someone before he/she/it gets a turn.

just as when you exits TB for some RT action it does so after the turn.

i've not played the demo though, so i really can't tell.

yeah the programmers should include the fact as SOON as a guy goes to attack you the turn based starts

perhaps it would be annoying if people wanting to attack you would toggle it all the time, in theory this would force you to be in TB even if the enemy can't reach you.

so they actually attacking(close to you)you is better.

actually i rember an area in the first beta where that rats attacked you on sight, but as they couldn't reach you, and you were in the situation, you would be forced to be in combat mode in the whole time.

Well not that unreasonable but combat don't start in turn based until he's right next to you

I also kinda noticed that I can move but have no ap loss

You can initiate turnbased earlier by doing it manually. Press the shield or the "R" key on your keyboard. But it must be a nightmare to base a character on ranged attacks when all the enemies can get up close before TB kicks in(if you don`t do it manually as I said).

Yeah it is, and really there should be like a range or something ya know? Like 20 is where combat will initiate or something like that

I found that if you could get close enough to the fight area without actually triggering the encounter, I could get one or two arrows away. Most of the time I found that more of an inconvenience so I sold my bow and just wade into the fights.

So I guess the bow was a real blunder then?

Did you have any followers with you? To my mind, an archer should hang back while his companions attack and then snipe from the rear.

You can use commands to send your followers to attack a target - in most cases the enemy will focus on them not you, leaving you free to pepper them with arrows.

Combining archery with magick looks like a powerful strategy as well. Entangle your target, cast Agility of Fire, and you'll be turning them into pincushions in no time!

Also, advanced training (not available in the demo) will enable you to shoot faster, shoot two arrows at once and eventually let you snipe at extreme range with maximum accuracy. Not to mention the magickally and technologically enhanced bows that might be waiting out there...

Bows don't look so useless with those options in mind.

Zen - Wrong. I was a blunder with the bow...not the other way around.

I haven't played with firearms yet though. They may be better in the long run. My guys seem to be pretty adept with their swords and axes. They are happy serving up platters full or a good A** whooping with just those couple of weapons.

Word of advice, don´t use bumerang when you have companions in the group. they tend to run in the line of fire and get hit by it.
Virgil got realy upset about it after a few times.

A pity though, since it has one hell of a range and comes back (even when you hit some one).
Found out that there is better versions of it sometimes at the smith´s shop.
