Thoughts on Armour, Weaponry & Clothing!

Greetings Adventurers!

I found, completing Arcanum the countless times I have, the possibilities for weaponry, clothing and armour were small.

If Arcanum 2 was ever to be created, I would like to see more weapons, clothing and armour in the game. Listed below are some of my thoughts on the subject.

WEAPONRY

- Crossbows: Possibly in different sizes, such as large and small fitting for both the powerful adventurer and the stealthy thief.

- Spears: Fitting for those of the 'lower class' such as Orcs, Ogres and the like.

- Sling: Mainly used by those of nature, such as druids and shamans, the Sling would be a powerful weapon, firing pebbles and stones at amazing speed.

ARMOUR

- Bulletproof Armour: While being extremely expensive and rare, bulletproof armour would offer great advantages for those often involving themselves with the powers of technology.

CLOTHING

- Robes: While robes already exist in Arcanum, maybe there could be a wider range of syles, such as looser or tighter fitting ones tailored in different fabrics and materials.

I agree with those, and they are good ideas, but most of that stuff wouldn't show unless Troika gives more character detail in Arcanum 2, including hair color, skin color, body type (fat, skinny, medium, tall, short, medium, old, young, medium) and other things like that.

 

I would like to wear Sctoland Yard like trench coat over my armour. It would be also good to make armour of your own from some tough creature's hide.

 

I would like to be able to wield a sword in each hand, and have a defense bonus as well, but not quite as high as one would expect with a shield of course. Along that line of thinking, how about nunchucks, or maybe two pistols, yeah, two handguns would be cool.

 

Being able to wear clothes over armor

I think that it would be grand if you could have armor and street clothes both going at once, one over the other or perhaps clothes in town and armor when you leave
